Práce v první části shrnuje teoretické znalosti z odborné literatury v oblasti rozpočtů a rozpočtového procesu podniků. Zasazuje rozpočet do širších souvislostí řízení podniku a blíže se věnuje motivační, organizační, plánovací a kontrolní funkci rozpočtů. V praktické části popisuje rozpočtový proces podniku Dek a.s. Závěrem práce je kritické zhodnocení reálné situace v podniku s přihlédnutím k informacím z teoretické části. The paper in its first part summarizes theoretical background of budgets and budgeting process in companies. It describes budgets in connection to other tools used to manage a company. The work is mainly focused on mativating, coordinating, planning and controling function of budgets. In its practical part it describes budgeting process in Dek a.s. In the end, there is a critical review of budgeting process from the company in relation and comparison to what has been written in the first part.
