Moje práce s názvem Bohuslav Martinů: Druhý houslový koncert, v originále Concerto pour violon, je rozdělena do pěti kapitol různé délky i různorodého obsahu. Od obecných informací ohledně okolností vzniku koncertu, jeho provedení, nahrávek a zprostředkování myšlenek autora přecházím k podrobnému rozboru, který je zaměřen zejména na formální stránku kompozice. Zde nebylo mým cílem dílo rozebírat notu po notě, nýbrž postihnout jeho základní tektonické rysy a poukázat také na zajímavosti, které jeho partitura obsahuje. Věnuji také v rámci těchto kapitol náležitou pozornost harmonické stránce, která je významnou složkou hudební řeči Martinů. Závěrem připojuji některé praktické informace týkající se sólového partu a jeho studia. My paper called Bohuslav Martinů: Second Violin Concerto, original name Concerto pour violon, is divided into five chapters of different lenght and content. The paper firstly provides general information on how the concert was composed, its rendition, recordings and portrayal of the author?s thoughts. This is followed by an in-depth analysis focusing on the formal side of the composition. It was not my aim here to analyse note after note, but to comment on the basic tectonic features and point out the most interesting parts of the score. In these chapters I also pay due attention to the harmonic side, which is a significant component of Martinů?s musical expression. To conclude, I provide some practical information regarding the solo part and its study.
