Abstrakt: This bachelor thesis called "Differences and specificities between documentary and feature film from the perspective of Director of photograhy" deals with different cinematographer's practice in these two disciplines, choosing the correct image format, movie camera and lens, right material and others technical parameters which simplify director's of photography work. I also mention history of documentary and feature film, historical film equipment which I compare to present digital cameras and digital movie cameras. I also describe feature films containging documentary elements and documentary films containing feature films elements. As an example I analyse two of such films and qoute famous czech and worldwide filmmakers who vigorously influenced cinematography.
