Společný ošetřovatelský jazyk zahrnuje především klasifikace, mezi které patří mimo jiné i Nanda taxonomie. Nanda taxonomie (původně Nort American Nursing Diagnosis Association - severoamerická asociace pro sesterské diagnózy) je profesionální organizace sester pro standardizaci sesterské terminologie. Založena roku 1982. Má za úkol uspořádat ošetřovatelské diagnózy dle určitého principu. Cílem je vytvořit standartní jednotné názvy. Nanda taxonomie 2 vychází z funkčních vzorců Marion Gordonové. Obsahuje 13 diagnostických domén, 47 tříd a 172 diagnóz. The common nursing language includes in particular classification, which include, inter alia, Nanda taxonomy.
