[cze][eng] Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kultem sv. Rocha v 17. a 18. století v Čechách. Úvod práce je věnován životu světce, jeho legendám, kultu a základnímu přehledu jeho ikonografie v evropském umění. Další část práce se zabývá historií morových epidemií a jejich vlivem na mentalitu obyvatelstva převážně v 17. a 18. století. Na tuto kapitolu plynně navazuje další část práce, věnující se politické situaci v pobělohorském období v Čechách. Kapitola shrnující památky zasvěcené sv. Rochu podává ucelený přehled o sochařských a architektonických památkách na území Čech. Zvláštní pozornost zde je pak věnována kultu a památkám tohoto světce v Jihočeském kraji.This Bachelor thesis is concerned with the cult of Saint Roch in the 17th and 18th century in Bohemia. The introduction of this thesis deals with the life of Saint Roch, his legends, cult and fundamental overview of his iconography in European art. Another part of the thesis is concerned with the history of plague epidemics and their influence on the mentality of people mostly in the 17th and 18th century. This chapter is followed by another part of the thesis which deals with the political situation in the post-White Mountain period in Bohemia. The chapter summarizing monuments dedicated to Saint Roch gives a comprehensive overview of sculptural and architectural monuments in the area of Bohemia. Special attention is paid to the cult and monuments of Saint Roch in the South Bohemian Region.
