Bakalářská práce se zabývá motivací ke studiu psychologie. Teoretická část obsahuje problematiku psychologie motivace, formální třídění motivů, vysvětluje teorii sebe-determinace a teorii implicitní a explicitní motivace. Dalším tématem teoretické části jsou pomáhající profese, v jejichž kontextu jsou uvedeny kapitoly o altruismu, motivaci k pomáhajícím profese, syndromu pomocníka a syndromu vyhoření. Popisuje také některé projektivní metody, zejména test nedokončených vět, který je použit ke sběru dat do výzkumu. Empirická část popisuje výzkum v duchu kvalitativního výzkumného designu metodou zakotvené teorie. Výzkumná data se skládají z polo-strukturovaných rozhovorů a testů nedokončených vět od šesti respondentů. Výsledky popisují kategorie vytvořené během kódování v rámci zakotvené teorie (role psychologa; osobnost psychologa; vlastní osobnost; co psycholog dělá; úskalí; zisk). This undergraduate thesis is focused on motivation for studying psychology. The theoretical part contains topics of psychology of motivation, formal classification of motives, explanation of self-determination theory and theory of implicit and explicit motivation. Another topic in theoretical part considers helping professions and includes ? chapters about altruism, motivation for helping professions, the helper syndrome and the burnout syndrome. Further there are described projective methods, especially the incomplete sentence test which was used in current research. Empirical part describes qualitative research in grounded theory. Data consist of semi-structured interviews and incomplete sentences tests from six respondents. The results describes categories that were created during the forming of the grounded theory (the role of psychologist, personality of psychologist; own personality, what a psychologist does; pitfalls; profit).
