Abstract: Vegetation sampling was carried out to determine how two approaches to land reclamation differ in the species richness and the development in time. Different stages either spontaneously re-vegetated or technically reclaimed were analyzed in sand pits located in the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area in the Czech Republic.
