Práce se zabývá vývojem školství a postupným utvářením systematické sociální péče v Čechách ve druhé polovině 18. století. Mapuje reformu těchto oblastí od samého počátku vzniku, po zavedení na celém území Rakouska-Uherska. První část práce je zaměřená na detailní analýzu industriální výchovy v jihočeské Kaplici, druhá část popisuje postupné vytváření uceleného sociálního systému novohrads-kého panství. Práce popisuje sociálně pedagogické snahy reformátorů o vzestup společnosti a zlepšení celkové situace v českých zemích po vleklých středoevrop-ských válkách. Závěrečná kapitola reflektuje obsah práce v kontextu sociální pedagogiky. The thesis considers the education system development and gradual forming of social care in Bohemia in the 2nd half of 18th century. It tracks the reform of these areas from its early beginnings till its introduction within the whole Austrian-Hungarian Empire. First part of the thesis focuses on detailed analysis of industrial education in South-Bohemian Kaplice, 2nd part covers the gradual establishment of complex social system in the dominion of Nové Hrady. The thesis looks at the social-pedagogical reform endeavours aimed at progress of the society and improvement of the general situation in Bohemia in the aftermath of the protracted wars in Central Europe. The closing chapter reflects the content of the thesis within the context of social pedagogy.
