Diplomová práce se zabývá současnými trendy v oblasti pojišťovnictví. Cílem této práce je nalézt a analyzovat jednotlivé vývojové trendy, které v posledních několika letech ovlivňují pojistný trh. V první části práce je definován vývoj na českém pojistném trhu z hlediska předepsaného pojistného. Další dvě kapitoly se věnují trendům v oblasti neživotního a životního pojištění a zvlášť v oblasti pojištění motorových vozidel. U neživotního pojištění se jedná o vývoj v oblasti katastrofických událostí, a následkem toho zvyšující se význam alternativních nástrojů krytí rizika. Kapitola o trendech v životním pojištění pojednává o jednorázových a běžných pojistkách, dále o rozhodnutí Soudního dvora EU o zákazu diskriminace pohlaví v kalkulaci pojistného a reakce pojišťoven v podobě tvorby pojistných produktů určených pouze ženám. Poslední kapitola se zabývá novým regulatorním konceptem Solvency II. Vysvětlením jeho cílů, tři pilířů, a také Lamfalussyho legislativního procesu, dle něhož je vytvářen. V závěru práce jsou zhodnoceny také jeho dopady. The thesis deals with current trends in insurance. The aim of the thesis is to find and analyse the development trends, which has affected the insurance market the most in the last years. The first part is defined by the evolution of Czech insurance market in terms of premiums written. The next two chapters are devoted to trends in non-life and life insurance and trends in motor vehicle insurance. For non-life insurance, the development of catastrophic events, and as a result of the increasing importance of alternative instruments of risk. The chapter on trends in life insurance is about one-off and regular insurance policies, as well as the decision of the Court of Justice of the EU ban on sex discrimination in the calculation of insurance premiums and administration including creation of insurance for women only. The last chapter deals with the new Solvency II regulatory concept. Explaining his goals, three pillars, as well as the Lamfalussy legislative process, according to which it is created. In conclusion, there are also evaluated its effects.
