Tato práce se snaží odpovědět na otázku, zdali jsou politiky spíše právníci než lékaři. Na začátku práce je vymezen pojem korupce a jednotlivé druhy korupce. Následuje rozdělení předchozího povolání poslance do tří skupin: právník, lékař a nezařazení. Další část se zabývá empirickým testováním prostřednictvím časových řad a regresní analýzy. Časové řady poukázaly na rostoucí podíl skupiny povolání právník v poslanecké sněmovně Parlamentu České republiky. Regresní analýzou jsem potvrdil významný vliv předchozího povolání typu právník na celkový příjem poslance. Regresní analýza má bohužel velmi nízkou vypovídací hodnotu z důvodu nízké hodnoty R2. The topic of this work tries to answer the question whether the policies are lawyers more than physicians. At the beginning of the thesis there is defined the concept of corruption and various kinds of corruption. The following part is the separation of previous professions of MPs into three groups: a lawyer, a doctor and non-inclusion. The next section discusses the empirical testing via time lines and regression analysis. Time lines have pointed to a growing share of the group Profession lawyer in the House of Deputies of the Czech Republic. I confirmed a significant effect of prior profession type lawyer on total income MP with regression analysis. Regression analysis is unfortunately very low informative value due to the low value of R2.
