Cílem této bakalářské práce je ověření závislosti mzdy na stupni dosaženého vzdělání. Pro ověření je použita regresní analýza, metoda nejmenších čtverců. Vzhledem k tomu, že stupeň dosaženého vzdělání má pozitivní vliv na výši mzdy, je následně spočítána výnosnost investice do vysokoškolského studia. Studenti jsou rozděleni podle místa, odkud pochází. Pro každého jsou vyčísleny náklady na studium. Pro výpočet je použita metoda čisté současné hodnoty, dále je počítáno vnitřní výnosové procento a doba návratnosti investice. Z výsledků plyne, že nejvyšší čistou současnou hodnotu má studium v Praze na Institutu ekonomických studií Univerzity Karlovy. Doba návratnosti investic terciárního vzdělání je nejrychlejší v Praze. To je dáno vyššími výdělky v hlavním městě. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to prove correlation between wage and school degree. For verification is used regression analysis, ordinary least squares method. Here is approved the possitive correlation between wage and school degree so the next is to calculate return of investment in college education. Student are divided into groups according to the place where they come from. For each of them is calculated costs of the study. For the calculation is used method of the net present value as the internal rate of return and payback period. The results shows that the greatest net present value has studying Charles University in Prague. The payback period of investment in college education is greatest in Prague. This is due to higher earnings in the capital city.
