Bakalářská práce se zabývá hospodářským vývojem Austrálie s důrazem na první dekádu 21. století. První část práce přibližuje historický vývoj hospodářství Austrálie od jejího osídlení Evropany po mikroekonomickou reformu na konci 20. století. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje současnou australskou ekonomiku, objasňuje důvody, proč Austrálie nebyla v roce 2009 v technické recesi, a uvádí SWOT analýzu Austrálie. Třetí část práce představuje současné česko-australské obchodní vztahy a potenciální hlubší spolupráci těchto dvou zemí. This bachelor thesis provides information about the economic development of Australia, with an emphasis on the first decade of the 21st century. The first part of the paper introduces the historical development of the Australian economy from the first European settlement for microeconomic reform in the late 20th century. The second chapter focuses on the current Australian economy, explains why Australia was not in a technical recession in 2009 and provides a SWOT analysis of Australia. The third part describes current Czech-Australian trade relations and potential deeper cooperation between these two countries.
