Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na dva problémy. V první řadě se zaobírá vývojem pražských vedut, a to v časovém rozmezí zhruba pětiset let (od počátku jejich vzniku až po nástup fotografie). V této sekci jsou představeni umělci zabývající se Prahou a jejich díla. Tyto kresby a grafiky jsou dále detailně popsány po stylové stránce, stejně jako po stránce jejich účelu. Druhou zde rozebíranou problematikou je osobnost Václava Hollara. V první kapitole je představen životopis Václava Hollara. V následujících kapitolách je dále probírána jeho pražská tvorba, jsou zde zmíněny jak jeho celkové pohledy na město, tak detailní záběry z interiérů pražských ulic. K dílu Václava Hollara jsou následně vztahovány ostatní pražské veduty jiných umělců. This bachelor's thesis is focused on two problems. Principally, there is concerned the historical development of Prague vedutes after an interval of five hundred years approximately (at the beginning of the views until the beginning of the photography). This part comprise the artists engaged in Prague and their works. This drawings and graphics are described in details from the point of view of style as well as in respect of its purpose. The second part is concerned to personality of Václav Hollar. This artist is represented by important biographical data firstly. In following chapters his Prague works are discussed including the general views on Prague as well as the detailed interiors of streets. The works of Václav Hollar is compared with the drawings of other artists.
