Cílem této bakalářské práce je upozornit na ovdovělé matky s dětmi, které se dostávají do velice problematické sociální situace v důsledku náhlé smrti jejich životního partnera. Teoretická část začíná rozsáhlou částí o smrti blízkého člověka, a to náhlou smrtí. Dále se zabývá tím, jak je vnímána smrt manžela manželkou a smrt otce dětmi, což je provázáno důležitým obdobím truchlení. Dále popisuje reakce okolí na zármutek pozůstalých a nastiňuje kdy a kde hledat pomoc a také jak ji správně poskytovat. Vysvětluje pojem neúplná rodina, situaci ovdovělých matek, ať již ze sociálního či ekonomického hlediska. Poslední úsek je věnován pomáhajícím organizacím, podrobněji Nadaci Truck HELP. Praktická část je úzce propojena s částí teoretickou, protože se jedná o případovou studii jednoho případu, kterou chci poukázat na problematiku ovdovělých matek. Myslím si, že práce tím může být ku pomoci i ostatním matkám, které se mohou do této situace dostat. The aim of this thesis is to draw attention to widowed mothers with children who come into a very difficult social situation due to a sudden death of their life partner. The theoretical part begins with a large part about the death of a loved one, and that by a sudden death. It also deals with the way the death is perceived by the husband?s wife and children?s father, which is accompanied by an important period of mourning. It describes the reaction of the surrounding and the survivors? grief and outlines when and where to seek help and how to provide it properly. It explains the concept of single-parent family, the situation of widowed mothers, whether from social or economic viewpoint. The last section is devoted to helping organizations, specifically the Truck HELP Foundation. The practical part is closely connected with the theoretical part, because it is a case study of a particular case. On the case study I want to point out the problems of widowed mothers. I believe that the work can be of help to other mothers who may end up in such situation.
