Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním možností ústavní a domácí péče o nemocného trpícího demencí (Alzheimerovou chorobou) a následně vlivu jednotlivého druhu péče na nemocného jako takového. Díky obsahové analýze publikačních zdrojů jsem sestavila teoretickou část práce, v níž se snažím rozebrat zvolené téma tak, aby bylo co možná nejvíce srozumitelně vysvětleno. Zaměřuji se především na paměť, proces stárnutí, diagnostiku, terapii a specifikaci Alzheimerovy choroby. Následně jsem vytvořila dotazník, na jehož základě jsem díky dotazníkovému šetření mohla porovnat oba typy péče. Péče mě zajímala především z hygienického hlediska, možnosti socializace, komunikace a volnočasových aktivit nemocného. Každý typ péče jsem rozebrala zvlášť a následně porovnala shody a rozdíly každé z nich. Zjistila jsem tak i celkový vliv na nemocného a jeho spokojenost. This Bachelor's Thesis is a comparative study of the possibilities of institutional and home care for persons suffering from dementia (Alzheimer's disease) and the resulting effect that each kind of care has on the patient. Through a content analysis of publishing resources, I drew up a theoretical part where I attempt to discuss the subject in question as comprehensibly as possible. My primary focus is on memory, the aging process, diagnostics, therapy and the specification of Alzheimer's disease. This is followed by a questionnaire aimed at comparing the two types of care through the survey method. I was mainly interested in the aspect of hygiene, opportunities of socialisation, communication and the free time activities of the patient. Each type of care is discussed separately before identifying the several similarities and differences. This also enabled me to determine the overall effect of the care on the patient and his satisfaction.
