Bakalářská práce je zaměřená především na zjištění informovanosti seniorů v oblasti dentální hygieny a vlivu stavu chrupu na celkové zdraví u vybrané věkové skupiny. Bohužel v dnešní době není u seniorů problematice dutiny ústní a orálnímu zdraví věnována dostatečná pozornost. Nedostatečná péče o dutinu ústní a špatná informovanost seniorů může vést až k předčasné ztrátě přirozeného chrupu. Proto je informovanost základní prevencí v oblasti dentální hygieny, jak u seniorů, tak i u ostatních věkových skupin. Teoretická část bakalářské práce obsahuje, jak základní informace týkající se anatomie chrupu, onemocnění závěsného aparátu či protetické stomatologii, tak i nástin příčiny a prevence v této oblasti. Dále se teoretická část práce zabývá druhem dentálních pomůcek vhodných pro seniory, technikou čištění chrupu a zubních náhrad, bez kterých by se dokonalá ústní hygiena seniorů neobešla. Praktická části bakalářské práce zahrnuje přípravu a realizaci edukačního programu u seniorů týkající se dentální hygieny a prevence. Ve výzkumné části práce zjišťuji informovanost seniorů v oblasti dentální hygieny za pomoci dotazníkového šetření a následného vyhodnocování v grafické části práce. Bacherol Thesis is focused primaliry on fading of senior in dental hygiene and influence of dental condition on overall health in the age group. Unfortunately today isn´t the issue of seniors oral health and oral cavity insufficient attention. Insufficient oral care and bad informatik of seniors can lead to premature los sof natural teeth. Therefore awarenes is basic in preventing dental hygiene, as et seniors, so for other age groups. Theoretical part of Bacherol Thesis, ainclude information about the anatomy of teeth, diseases of the supporting apparatus and prosthetic dentistry and also causes and prevention in this field. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the the type of dental equipment suitable for seniors brushing technique and dental prostheses, that made perfect oral hygiene seniors did not proceed. The practical part of the thesis includes the development and realization of an educational program for seniors concerning dental hygiene and prevention. In the research part of the thesis find the awareness seniors in dental hygiene with the help of the questionnaire survey and subsequent evaluation of the graphical part.
