Bakalářská práce sleduje obecné otázky lingvistické disciplíny ? onomastiky. Práce obsahuje část teoretickou zabývající se charakteristikou a historií tohoto vědního oboru a rozpracovává samotné fungování vlastních jmen. Zaměřuje se také na vnitřní členění disciplíny a podává informace o jednotlivých podoborech. Empirická část je zaměřena ve dvou kapitolách na názvy v Českých Budějovicích a rozbor osobního jména. První kapitola reprezentuje vývoj, významové okruhy a motivace českobudějovického názvosloví a následně je proveden rozbor u vybraných názvů s městem úzce souvisejících. Druhá tvoří rozbor antroponyma ?Kristýna Zouzalová?. This Bachelor thesis follows the general questions of the linguistic discipline - onomastics. The thesis includes a theoretical part dealing with the characteristics and history of science and describes the functioning of proper names. It is also focused on the internal structure of discipline and provides information on particular subdisciplines. The empirical part is devided into two chapters - the names in the České Budějovice and analysis of personal name. The first chapter represents the development, meaning areas and motivation of nomenclature of České Budějovice. I subsequently make the analysis of some selected names closely related to the city. The second part is an analysis consists of the anthroponyma ?Kristýna Zouzalová?.
