Cílem této práce bylo zhodnotit současný stav cestovního ruchu v oblasti Plzně. Pomocí sběru sekundárních dat byla zhodnocena struktura předpokladů cestovního ruchu a rovnoměrnost jejich rozmístění. Na základě získaných primárních dat z dotazníkového šetření v lokalitách ZOO Plzeň a zámku Kozel byla posouzena struktura návštěvníků a jejich charakteristické rozdíly. V práci bylo navrženo několik opatření, která by vedla k optimalizaci cestovního ruchu a rekreace v dané oblasti. The target of this study was to evaluate the present state of tourism in the area of Pilsen. Using secondary data collection were assessed preconditions of tourism structure and uniformity of their distribution. Based on the primary data from questionnaire research has been assessed the structure of visitors and their characteristic in the localities Pilsen ZOO and castle Kozel. Several action steps for optimization of tourism and recreation in selected area were suggested.
