Předmětem bakalářské práce ?Ekonomika a řízení vybraného podniku maloobchodu? je zkoumání, analyzování prostředí, ve kterém maloobchodní řetězec působí a zhodnocení finanční situace podniku. První část práce zahrnuje teoretický základ dané problematiky, především vymezení základních pojmů z obchodu a maloobchodu. Druhá část zahrnuje analýzu amerického maloobchodu. V třetí části dochází k popisu společnosti Wal-Mart. Získané teoretické poznatky jsou aplikovány v rámci situační analýzy na společnost Wal-Mart. The subject of the thesis "Economics and management of selected retail business" is to explore and analyze the environment in which the retail chain operates and assess their financial situation. The first part covers the theoretical background of the issue, particularly the definition of basic concepts of business and retail. The second part includes an analysis of American retail. In the third part is to describe Wal-Mart. The theoretical findings are applied in a situational analysis on Wal-Mart.
