Diplomová práca sa zameriava na proces liberalizácie trhu so zemným plynom v Európe. Cieľom diplomovej práce je priblížiť energetickú politiku a jej vývoj vo vzťahu k liberalizácií plynárenstva v EÚ a zároveň sa kriticky pozrieť na to, čo priniesla v praxi liberalizácia trhu so zemným plynom, prípadne v akej fáze sa tento proces momentálne nachádza. Vzhľadom k tomu, že vývoj plynárenstva sa odohráva v kontexte energetiky, tak je úvod diplomovej práce venovaný vývoju energetiky a energetickej politiky a to od konca 2. svetovej vojny až po súčasnosť. Následne sa v diplomovej práci zameriavam na význam a postavenie zemného plynu medzi ostatnými energetickými zdrojmi. V tretej kapitole je popísaný priebeh liberalizačného procesu v EÚ, ktorý je úzko prepojený s prijímaním a následnou implementáciou európskych energetických smerníc a nariadení, tzv. energetických balíčkov, do národnej legislatívy. V poslednej kapitole sú vybrané aspekty liberalizácie trhu so zemným plynom analyzované v podmienkach Českej republiky. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na proces liberalizace trhu se zemním plynem v Evropě. Cílem diplomové práce je přiblížit energetickou politiku a její vývoj ve vztahu k liberalizaci plynárenství v EU a zároveň se kriticky podívat na to, co přinesla v praxi liberalizace trhu se zemním plynem, případně v jaké fázi se tento proces momentálně nachází. Vzhledem k tomu, že vývoj plynárenství se odehrává v kontextu energetiky, tak je úvod diplomové práce věnován vývoji energetiky a energetické politiky a to od konce 2. světové války až po současnost. Následně se v diplomové práci zaměřuji na význam a postavení zemního plynu mezi ostatními energetickými zdroji. Ve třetí kapitole je popsán průběh liberalizačního procesu v EU, který je úzce propojen s přijímáním a následnou implementací evropských energetických směrnic a nařízení, tzv. energetických balíčků, do národní legislativy. V poslední kapitole jsou vybrané aspekty liberalizace trhu se zemním plynem analyzovány v podmínkách České republiky. This thesis focuses on the process of liberalization of the natural gas market in Europe. The aim of this thesis is to present energy policy and its development in relation to the liberalization of the gas industry in the EU. Moreover another aim of this thesis is to bring a critical look at the process of liberalization of natural gas market in practice and assess the current stage of the liberalization process in EU. The gas industry represents one of the parts of energy industry and from this reason the indroduction of this thesis is devoted to the development of energy and energy policy from the 2nd world war to the present. The next chapter of this thesis is focuses on the importance and the position of natural gas among the other energy sources. The next chapter describes the process of the liberalization in the European Union, which is related to the adoption and implementation of the European energy directives and regulations, also known as the energy packages, in to the national legislation. In the last chapter are analyzed some of the factors of the liberalization of the gas market in the Czech Republic
