Bakalářská práce na téma Životní styl žadatele o umístění do Domova pro seniory a uživatele sociální služby v Domově pro seniory mapuje způsob života seniorů v Domově pro seniory Budislav a seniorů z Táborska. Srovnává životní styl seniorů, volnočasové aktivity, míru sociálního kontaktu. Dále se zabývá hodnotami a kvalitou života seniorů. Teoretická část představuje pojmy z psychologie, pedagogiky, sociologie, andragogiky jako je stáří, životní styl, sociální práce. V praktické části jsou obsažena data získaná z kvantitativního výzkumu na základě dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky z tohoto výzkumu poukazují na rozdílnost života seniorů z obcí Dírná, Choustník, Tučapy, Soběslav a života seniorů umístěných v Domově pro seniory Budislav. This Bachelor´s work presentation (the Thesis) explores the topic of lifestyle of applicants prior to their admittance to the homes for senior citizens. As well, it maps the lifestyle of senior users of social services in the home for elderly Citizens in the Municipality of Budislav and, the homes for seniors from the surroundings of the City of Tabor. This work compares the respective lifestyles of the elderly, their leisure activities and, the degrees of their social connectivity. Furthermore, it deals with the values and quality of lives of these senior citizens. The theoretical part of this presentation utilizes concepts embedded in psychology, pedagogy, sociology or andragogy. Herein, the general issues of old age, lifestyle and social works are being explored. The applied portion of the presentation contains empirical evidence, gathered through a questionnaire (a research instrument), and subjected to a rigorous quantitative analysis. The results of this research point out to the comparative diversity of the respective lives of the senior citizens; specifically, between the Villages of Dirna, Choustnik, Tucapy and Sobeslav, as compared to the lives of the seniors having been placed in the home for elderly in the Village of Budislav.
