Práce pojednává o globálních distribučních systémech, na začátku vysvětluje jednotlivé pojmy a definuje samotnou podstatu problematiky. V další části je práce zaměřena na postavení GDS na trhu nejen světovém, ale i českém. Historie GDS je zmapována za účelem pochopení dnešních vlastnických a produktivních vztahů. Předposlední kapitola se věnuje konkrétní analýze koncových uživatelů a letecké společnosti ČSA. Cílem práce je zhodnotit postavení a význam GDS na dnešním trhu a vytvořit možné budoucí scénaře vývoje rezervačních a distribučních systémů. This paper deals with GDS and their status on the market. At the beginning there are definitions explored , than is summary of the GDS evolution, to understand todays status not only on the world market, even also on the czech market. Other part of that paper is focused on owners and product structure . Another part deals with reservation and distribution systems in Czech airlines company. I have had for object to sum up GDS and their status on the market and to predict tehir future progress.
