Svetom otriasa niekoľkonásobná globálna kríza, či už finančná, energetická alebo potravinová. Práve potravinovej kríze, ktorú môžeme zasadiť do obdobia koniec roka 2006 a začiatok roka 2008, sa venuje predkladaná bakalárska práca. Primárnym cieľom práce je zhodnotiť súčasnú potravinovú krízu a analyzovať jej možné príčiny. Potravinová kríza postihuje najhoršie chudobné a zraniteľné skupiny ľudí po celom svete, preto sa zameriame na dopady krízy na krajiny Afriky, Karibiku a Pacifiku. Keďže tieto krajiny si vyžadujú pozornosť medzinárodného spoločenstva, na záver práce nastienime prístup rozvinutých trhových ekonomík k danej problematike. Skupina krajín ACP nesie status bývalých kolónií európskych krajín, preto sme ako partnera krajín ACP pri riešení potravinovej krízy zvolili Európsku úniu. We are at the crossroads of the most serious global financial, energetic and food crisis in modern history. In following bachelor thesis we have closely focused on food crisis in particular on the period of years 2006-2008. The primary goal of the thesis is to sum up and analyse possible reasons of current food crisis. Rapid increase in food prices hit worst the poor and vulnerable groups of people all over the world. Therefore in the centre of our attention are countries of Africa, Caribic and Pacific and consideration of impacts of food crisis on them. Part of this paper are also possible solutions while cooperating with developed contries. As partner for collaboration by diminishing impacts of food crisis and building food security in developing countries have been chosen the European union because of its longlasting relations with ACP group of states.
