Teoretická část je zaměřena na popis učitele, volbu učitelské profese, studium učitelství, roli učitele v pedagogické profesi, kompetence učitele. Nadále je zde popsán profil absolventa kombinovaného studia Učitelství odborných předmětů na Jihočeské univerzitě, Pedagogické fakulty. Pro praktickou část byly stanoveny výzkumné otázky, týkající se motivace studentů a jejich postojů k tomuto studiu. Výzkumné otázky jsou potvrzeny nebo vyvráceny výzkumnou sondou v podobě dotazníkového šetření. Toto dotazníkové šetření obsahuje 20 otázek, na které respondenti odpovídali písemnou formou. Zvolení respondenti byli studenti 1. a 3. ročníku kombinované formy studia Učitelství odborných předmětů na Jihočeské univerzity, Pedagogické fakulty, Katedry pedagogiky a psychologie. This thesis deals with the motivation of students and their attitudes to the study of vocational subjects teaching. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the teacher, the choice of the teaching profession, teaching studies, role of a teacher in the teaching profession, teacher competence. It continues with the description of the profile of a combined studies graduate of vocational subjects at the University of South Bohemia, Faculty of Education. For the practical part were established some research questions, related to the students motivation and their attitudes to this study. The research questions are confirmed or refuted by a research probe in the form of a questionnaire survey. This survey contains 20 questions that respondents answered in writing. The elected respondents were some students of the first and third grade of the combined studies of Teaching of vocational subjects at the University of South Bohemia, Faculty of Education, Department of Education and Psychology.
