Diplomová práce se zabývá podnikáním v regionu Příbram jako klíčovým faktorem regionálního rozvoje. Zkoumá historii, vývoj a současnost podnikání v regionu Příbram. Je zde analyzováno podnikatelské prostředí v Příbrami, jeho přínos pro region a jeho obyvatele. Součástí analýzy je hodnocení vlivu nejvýznamnějších firem, které působí v tomto regionu a ovlivňují život v městě Příbrami a v jeho okolí. The thesis deals with entrepreneurship in the Pribram region as one of the key elements of regional development. It analyses the historical background, the continual development, and the current state of affairs in the business sector of the Pribram region. The emphasis is placed on the business environment of Pribram, predominantly on the effects it has on the welfare of the region and its inhabitants. The applied part of the thesis consists of the analysis of the region's most prominent companies and traces the manners in which they influence life in Pribram and its surroundings.
