Terorismus je pojem, který bezpochyby vzbuzuje v lidech obavy a strach. Ve skutečnosti však nemají ponětí o tom, jak funguje. V prvních kapitolách se práce snaží popsat zdroje, ze kterých terorismus získává prostředky k jeho existenci. Méně známým prostředkem pro financování terorismu jsou krvavé diamanty, ale to neznamená, že jde o pojem, který není důležitý či se jím není nutno zabývat, právě naopak. Další část se pak věnuje samotnému pojmu "krvavé diamanty" a jeho vlivu na mezinárodní terorismus. Také zde nalezneme zmínku o snaze zavést opatření, která by pomohla ke kontrole světového obchodu s diamanty. Ovšem ne všechny země jsou ochotny spolupracovat a podporovat tato opatření. Z tohoto důvodu nemůže tento systém fungovat komplexně a dostatečně efektivně. Z hlediska mezinárodního terorismu, v poslední době neustále nabývá na významu těžba surovin a jejich následný prodej za účelem podpory opozičních vlád či teroristických organizací. Proto jsem zvolila téma "Obchod s krvavými diamanty jako prostředek financování mezinárodního terorismu", abych přiblížila tuto problematiku širší veřejnosti. Terrorism is a term that undoubtedly arouses fear and worry in humans, but they do not really have a clue about how it works. In the first chapters, the work tries to describe resources from which terrorism receives funds for its existence. Less well-known means of funding terrorism are blood diamonds, but it does not mean that it is a term which is not important or it is not necessary to deal with, just the opposite. Another part is devoted to the term "blood diamonds", but also its influence on international terrorism. We also find there a mention of trying to introduce measures that would help to control the world diamond trade. However, not all countries are willing to cooperate and support these measures so that system can not work comprehensively and effectively enough. In terms of international terrorism, raw material extraction is becoming increasingly important and their subsequent sale to support the opposing governments or terrorist organizations in recent years. That is why I chose the topic "Trade with blood diamonds as a means of funding of international terrorism" to give the general public an idea of that issue.
