Práce popisuje možné efekty přímých zahraničních investic na hostitelskou ekonomiku a jejich determinanty. Autor se zaměřuje konkrétně na tři oblasti - výkonnost, export a trh práce. V závěru je nabídnuto stručné hodnocení a doporučení vládám jednotlivých zemí, jak k PZI přistupovat. The paper describes the effects of foreign direct investment on host country as well as the determinants of these effects. The author concentrates on three areas - performance, export and labour market. The brief evaluation is offered in the end as well as the suggestions for governments how to treat the FDI.
