Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je popísať hedgeové fondy, reguláciu a zmeny v nej a hlavne situáciu okolo finančnej krízy. Úvod práce sa zaoberá všeobecnou charakteristikou tohto druhu fondov, ich historickým vývojom, úspechmi, neúspechmi. Ďalej pre porovnanie práca opisuje rozdiely oproti bežnejším investičným fondom a opisuje niektoré stratégie používané v týchto fondoch. Porovnávam ich výkonnosť s celosvetovým akciovým indexom. Dôležitou časťou bakalárskej práce je regulácia fondu a prebiehajúce zmeny v tejto regulácii aj následkom finančnej krízy. V závere práce je subjektívne vyhodnotenie dopadu regulácií a finančnej krízy na toto odvetvie hedgeových fondov. V praktickej časti analyzujem vzťah hedgeových fondov a verejnosti v Českej a Slovenskej republike, kde výsledky dokazujú malú informovanosť a vedomosti v rámci hedgeových fondov. Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat hedgeové fondy, regulaci a změny v ní a hlavně situaci kolem finanční krize. Úvod práce se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou tohoto druhu fondů, jejich historickým vývojem, úspěchy, neúspěchy. Dále pro porovnání práce popisuje rozdíly oproti běžnějším investičním fondem a popisuje některé strategie používané v těchto fondech. Porovnávám jejich výkonnost s celosvětovým akciovým indexem. Důležitou částí bakalářské práce je regulace fondu a probíhající změny v této regulaci i následkem finanční krize. V závěru práce je subjektivní vyhodnocení dopadu regulací a finanční krize na toto odvětví hedgeových fondů. V praktické části analyzuji vztah hedgeových fondů a veřejnosti v České a Slovenské republice, kde výsledky dokazují malou informovanost a znalosti v rámci hedgeových fondů. The aim of this thesis is to describe hedge funds, regulation and changes in it and especially about the situation of financial crisis. Introduction of the work deals with the general characteristics of this type of funds, their historical development, successes, and failures. Furthermore, the comparison report describes the differences from the more common investment funds and outlines some strategies used in these funds. I compare their efficiency to global stock index. An important part of the thesis is the regulation of the fund the ongoing changes in the regulation because of the financial crisis. At the end of the thesis, is a subjective evaluation of the impact of regulation and the financial crisis on the industry of the hedge funds. A practical part analyzes the relationship of hedge funds and the public in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where the results show little awareness and knowledge of hedge funds.
