Na Latinskou Ameriku od 15. století výrazně působily různé kulturní, ekonomické či politické vnější vlivy. Tato práce se zaměří na analýzu některých těchto vlivů -- předně na hlavní teorie rozvoje. Důraz bude kladen na neoliberalismus, který s sebou přináší i vzestup fenoménů jako je globalizace nebo rostoucí vliv nadnárodních korporací. Na praktickém příkladu bolivijské "války o vodu" budou některé tyto vlivy demonstrovány a hlavním cílem této práce je identifikovat příčiny a dopady tohoto specifického konfliktu. Since the 15th century, Latin America has been strongly influenced by different cultural, economic and political external influences. This thesis focuses on the analysis of some of these effects -- especially on major theories of development. Neoliberalism, which brings phenomena such as globalization or the increasing influence of multinational corporations, will be analyzed in particular. Some of these effects will be presented on the case study of "The Cochabamba Water Wars". The main objective of this thesis is to identify the causes and effects of this specific conflict.
