[cze][eng] Věková struktura lidské populace se na určitém území díky různým vlivům v průběhu času mění a je často nepravidelná. Tyto výkyvy působí na společnost v mnoha ohledech a jedním z nich je i kolísající poptávka po službách určených pro části populace ve specifickém věku. Mezi takto ovlivněné služby patří typicky oblast školství. V této práci jsou analyzovány velikosti jednotlivých školních kontingentů, tedy části populace účastnící se výuky v jednotlivých úrovních školského systému v uplynulých letech na území ČR. Dále je sestavena prognóza populačního vývoje, na jejímž základě je ilustrován budoucí vývoj kontingentů. Závěr práce obsahuje zhodnocení významu změn ve velikosti kontingentů a možné směry vývoje optimalizace školního systému s ohledem na proměny věkové struktury v krátkodobém a střednědobém časovém horizontu.Population age structure is influenced by various factors over the time and thus its division becomes variable. Such changes affect society in various ways, inconsistent demand for social services is one of them. Typical example of such service is education system. Paper analyzes size of school contingents, as population in specific age interval reflecting usual age of students is called. Analysis is set up for population of Czech Republic and uses both data reflecting past, present and future periods. Data for future are derived from population projection which is also an essential part of the paper. In the end conclusion of changes and their significance for both present and future is stated.
