Práce také seznamuje čtenáře s hlavními tendencemi, jež se projevují při zapojení států do Rady bezpečnosti v rámci jednotlivých regionálních skupin podle OSN.Ten of the fifteen seats on the U.N. Security Council are held by rotating members serving two-years term. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out if the number of memberships in U.N. Security Council of different states depends on several variables (GDP, population, contribution to U.N. budget). The thesis also presents the main tendencies which take place during the campaign for membership in Security Council in all the U.N. regional groups.
