Práce se zabývá analýzou lokalizačních faktorů u středních a velkých firem v Kraji Vysočina. Hlavním cílem práce je identifikovat a kategorizovat lokalizační faktory středních a velkých firem v Kraji Vysočina. Dílčím cílem práce je určit a kategorizovat faktory, které z hlediska zkoumaných firem v tomto regionu schází. V teoretické části je nastíněn vývoj lokalizačních teorií a jsou definovány a klasifikovány lokalizační faktory. Součástí je rovněž stručná socioekonomická charakteristika Kraje Vysočina. Praktická část je zaměřena především na analýzu výsledků dotazníkového šetření. Zdrojem dat bylo dotazníkové šetření prováděné u firem, které mají sídlo v Kraji Vysočina, dle jejich celkového počtu zaměstnanců (50 a více). V závěru práce jsou identifikovány testované i nově nalezené (tradice výroby) lokalizační faktory, které jsou následně kategorizovány do tří skupin. 1) Obecně významné faktory. 2) Faktory významné pouze pro některé velikostní či sektorové kategorie firem. 3) Málo významné faktory. Faktory, které z hlediska zkoumaných firem v Kraji Vysočina schází, jsou obdobným způsobem kategorizovány taktéž do tří skupin. The work deals with the analysis of location factors for medium and large companies in the Vysocina Region. The main objective is to identify and categorize the location factors of medium and large companies in the Vysocina Region. A sub-goal is to identify and categorize the factors, which from the standpoint of the companies examined are missing in the region. In the theoretical part of the development of localization theory and location factors are defined and classified. Also includes a brief socio-economic characteristics of the Vysocina Region. The practical part is focused especially on the analysis of survey results. The data source was a survey conducted among companies which are based in the Vysocina Region, according to their total number of employees (50 and over). At the coclusion of the work are identified and tested new-found (tradition of manufacturing) location factors, which are then categorized into three groups. 1) Generally significant factors. 2) Factors relevant only for certain size categories or sector companies. 3) Minor factors. Factors, which from the standpoint of the companies examined are missing in the Vysocina Region, are also similarly categorized into three groups.
