[cze][eng] Práce mapuje historii měnové politiky Československa od jeho vzniku až do roku 1993, kdy zanikla koruna československá. Nastiňuje prvopočátky československého bankovnictví za Rakouska-Uherska, vznik samostatného československého bankovnictví po roce 1918 a měnovou reformu v roce 1919, měnovou politiku dalších let samostatné republiky až do německé okupace a druhé světové války, poválečnou měnovou reformu a měnovou politiku lidově demokratického Československa do roku 1948. Dále práce obsahuje vývoj měnové politiky pod vedením Komunistické strany Československa, zahrnující i peněžní reformu z roku 1953, pokusy o tržní socialismus co se měnové politiky týče a následný návrat k původnímu stavu po roce 1968. Poslední kapitola se zabývá měnovou politikou po roce 1989 až do rozdělení Československa a zániku Kčs. Zároveň je součástí každé kapitoly oddíl věnovaný výtvarné náplni tehdejších papírových platidel, jejich obsahu a propagandistickým souvislostem. This paper surveys the history of Czechoslovak monetary policy from its formation till the year 1993 when the currency Koruna československá (Kčs) was ceased.
