Vliv médií na lidský život je v současné době stále zřetelnější. Masová média nás zahrnují velkým množstvím informací, které se velkou měrou podílejí na každodenním životě celé společnosti. Mezi tyto informace patří i reklamní sdělení, která dnes můžeme považovat za všudypřítomná. Reklama je jedním z nástrojů, které využívá značka pro vyjádření jedinečnosti produktu. Adolescence je období lidského života, kdy na utváření identity působí velkou měrou mimo jiné i vrstevnická skupina, v níž se dospívající nachází. Teoretická část práce sezabývá charakteristikou reklamy, značky a adolescence. V této části jsem čerpala z analýzy odborné literatury, popř. rešerší odborných knih. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativním sociologickém výzkumu, který je zaměřen na působení reklamního sdělení na adolescenty a vliv značkového zboží ve vrstevnické skupině. Data získaná pomocí hloubkových rozhovorů jsou zpracovaná podle metod zakotvené teorie. The impact of the mass media is much more obvious nowadays. The mass media provide many information that takes a huge part in everyday lives of the whole society. There is especially a kind of advertising information that can be seen everywhere. The advertisement is one of the means which the brands take advantage of, especially for expressing the uniqueness of their products. Adolescence is a period of a man´s life when the same age group forms the identities of those people. The theoretical part of my thesis deals with the characteristic of advertisement and with the basis of brand and adolescence. I have derived this part from the analysis of expert literature or from the research of special books. The practical part is based on the qualitative sociological research which deals with the influence of some advertising information on the adolescents and deals with the impact of branded goods in the same age group. The data from the proper dialogues were elaborated according to the right methods of grounded the theory.
