Cílem práce je zhodnotit postavení Japonska ve světové ekonomice se zaměřením na jeho současné postavení. Toto postavení je analyzováno pomocí komparace japonské ekonomiky s ekonomikami USA a EU a to zejména jejich zapojením do mezinárodního obchodu. The objective of the thesis is to assess the role of Japan in the world economy with a view to its contemporary role. This role is analyzed with the help of a comparison of the Japanese economy with the economy of the USA an the EU, especially throught their role in world trade.
