Changes in Ion Exchanger Catalysts after More than 10 Year Time-on-Stream

In this contribution will be reported results of examination of a series of industrial ion exchanger catalysts samples exposed to the environment of catalytic reactor in process of esterification of acrylic acid with methanol for more than 10 years. There was evaluated their acid capacity, swelling and using inverse steric exclusion chromatography (ISEC) also their morphology in water-swollen state. For comparison, similarly were evaluated also reference samples of the same but virgin ion exchangers.

Assessment of the financial situation of a concrete company through methods of financial analysis

This thesis evaluates the financial performance of selected firm during the period of ten years. For the purpose of this thesis were used known methods and tools of financial analysis. The source of the financial analysis were the data from the annual reports of the company. Based on the results obtained was reviewed the company's financial situation and were suggested measures that could lead to the improvement of its economic and financial situation.

Harmonization of financial statement within the European Union

The aim of this thesis is to comparasion the defferences in the reporting of financial inforamtion by the Czech accounting legislation and IFRS. In the theoretical part, the author deals with the main differences in these two accounting systems. In the second part, practical part, the author deals with compare the financial statements of business. In the last part assess I the main differences.

Which foreigners are worth wooing?: a meta-analysis of vertical spillovers from FDI

The principal argument for subsidizing foreign investment is the assumed spillover of technology to local firms. Yet researchers report mixed results on spillovers. To examine the phenomenon in a systematic way, writers collected 3,626 estimates from 57 empirical studies on between-sector spillovers and reviewed the literature quantitatively. The results indicate that model misspecifications reduce the reported estimates, but that journals select relatively large estimates for publication.
