The thesis is focused on the study and optimize inventory management at Kordárna Plus, a. s. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the basic concepts related to inventory management, classification, costs associated there with and methods of inventory control. The practical part is focused on the analysis of stocks on the process of procuring, warehousing and inventory control. This analysis uncovered deficiencies for which they proposed solutions. Proposals should lead to improved inventory management in the company.

Proposals for Improvement Inventory Management System

The subject of this thesis is to propose a new inventory management system, that was found in particular company as one of the biggest shortages, which the company currently faces. The first part of thesis contains theoretical background focused on inventory management, expecially on function and types of supplies, ordering systems of supplies and on methods of their inventory. The second part focuses on the analysis of the current state in company processes. Following the theoretical part, there were suggested appropriate inventory management systems to simplify the work in warehousing and logistic, but also to bring economic benefits to the whole company. In addition to these proposals were included also possible solutions of less problematic processes.

The Evaluation the Financial Situation of the Firm

The aim of this master’s thesis is to propose the steps leading to the improvement of the financial situation of a mid-sized manufacturing company. In order to achieve this aim, the financial analysis is performed. It defines the company’s weaknesses and it serves as a background for a suggestion for corrective actions leading to the improvement. Based on the measurability of the corrective actions, the comparison of the current and predicted situation is made in the final conclusion. It is realized with the Index IN05 bankruptcy model. The corrective actions proposed aim in particular at the operational and production management. They focus mainly on the weaknesses defined by the financial analysis – reduction of inventories and increase of marginal profit in order to strengthen liquidity, reduce debt ratio and improve financial health score in general.

The dissertation consist of two parts a theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes facts from shollars targeting on characteristic of stock, division, function, managing and basic idicators of stock Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Construction Company shows and uses methods and tools leading to examination of financial situation of this company. Essence of financial analysis is evaluation of present-state and past development on the base of financial statement analysis. In the end of my dissertation I will bring some suggestions and recommendations which could improve the current situation in the realm of managing of stock.

Proposal for Lean Manufacturing Using Kaizen Products to Ensure Quality

This diploma thesis is based upon a study of processes in a subdivision of fischer systems, a company in the automotive industry. These processes are studied with reference to lean manufacturing and Kaizen products. The first part of this thesis is a general introduction to the company. It is followed by a description of the subdivision in question, and a discussion of various theoretical approaches. An analysis of the current state of manufacturing and processes is also made. Finally, a proposal is made towards solving imperfections uncovered in the analysis stage, and getting the company closer to lean manufacturing.

Benefits of Purchasing Management in Relation to Optimize Inventory

The diploma thesis is focused on inventory management in a production company with an emphasis on optimizing company´s stock level. There has been made an analysis of the current status of selected group of inventory, and of the use of the existing information system. Based on this analysis and theoretical knowledge of inventory management, two measures have been designed. They should help to increase efficiency of purchasing and to reduce inventory and costs.

The thesis „The Inventory Management of Trading Company” deals with the issue of material flow and inventory management. In the introductory part of the thesis, the theoretical basis of supply logistics in a logistics chain, the issue of inventory, its storage and in particular its management have been defined. In the second part, inventory management in a logistics center of a company has been analyzed. In the last part, the solutions for improving inventory management of a company, mainly in terms of reduction of the amount, have been proposed.

The theoretical part is dedicated to characteristic of basic concepts related to inventory management, their classification, related costs and inventory management methods. Practical part is focused on the analysis of the current state in the company, on providing, storage and controlling of inventory. This analysis reveals deficiencies for which several solutions will be suggested. They will lead to more effective inventory management in the company.
