Surfing in the landlocked countries

Title Surfing in the landlocked countries Objectives The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to explore from the perspective of people who permanently live in a landlocked country, whether it is possible to sufficiently train and prepare for surfing in oceanic conditions. Methods This project is an empirical-theoretical work in which a quantitative research method in the form of questioning was used. Data was obtained through an online survey that contained mostly closed questions, along with a few semi-closed and open questions. The total number of questions was 24. The survey was distributed through various social media platforms aiming at people with previous or current surfing experience who live permanently in a landlocked country. Data collection took place using the Google Forms application. Results The results of the thesis show following: From the respondents' point of view, the conditions for learning, training and preparing surfers in a landlocked country are not comparable to the conditions of a country that has an ocean and offers the opportunity to ride real surfing waves. Problem of agility in football (review)

Thema works: Problematic issue with agility training in football (literary research) Student: Boris Kočiško Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D., MBA. Aims: The aim of the thesis was a literature search, which consists in focusing on the issue of agility in football and mainly observing, trying to record the currently available literature that relates to this issue and noting certain opinions and forming a certain node, which is the most relevant for coaches in this regard. Methodology: In this thesis, the method of literature search was used. While writing this thesis we used analyses of already existing foreign and Czech sources, which we commented with our own opinions. Results: Based on the literature search, an outline of the problem was made supported by other possible approaches, drawing on knowledge and experience from sport, football and agility training in both adult and youth settings. The thesis briefly analysed and then described briefly the issues in agility training. Thirty-two foreign sources and 10 Czech sources were studied, starting mainly from foreign sources as they offer a wider range of perspectives and experiences. Retrospective analysis focused on finding the most successful clubs in the education of young hockey talents in the 70s, 80s and 90s in the Czech Republic

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out the most successful clubs in development of young hockey players in seventies, eighties, and nineties in Czech Republic. In the analytical part we were interested in development of ice-hockey player and physiological conditions. We were also concerned with professional army sport. In synthetic part we mentioned all ice-hockey clubs, which played their part in developing top ice-hockey players. We also described five best ice-hockey clubs. We found out that in last 30 years there were 202 representational players, including 21 goalkeepers, 69 defenders and 112 attackers, on major tournaments. The most successful club was HC Dukla Jihlava, because of their program, which helped 54 players till they reach twenty years of age.
Menstrual cycle and performance of female tennis players

Thesis Title: Menstrual cycle and efficiency of women tennis players. Thesis Objective: Based on structured interview to determine the re- lationships between the individual phases of the menstrual cycle and active sports activity in selected female tennis players (ČTS) ranking. Suggestion how to adapt tennis training individually to the menstrual cycle of female tennis players. Methods: The main research metod is structured interview. Results: Research has found, that there is a significant deterio- ration in the performance of female tennis players occurred during the first and the second day of menstruation. The best performances were felt by tennis players around ovulation (12th - 17th day of the cycle). The most common problem at female players was irregular menstruation an three tennis players also had amenorrhea, which is probably rela- ted to high training doses. For 4 respondents, there was a response that PMS did not affect their perfor- mance both in training and in matches. Other female players have fatigue and abdominal pain as a symptom of PMS. It has been shown, that female players do not adapt training if they have small pain, if they have big pain, they adapt training (for example playing strokes from the spot, technical skills). Title: Anticipation sources and interaction during the softball hitting. Objectives: The objectives of this diploma thesis are to explore what kinds of anticipatory resources elite softball players perceive and which ones they take into consideration when hitting against a pitcher. Methods: The data used in this diploma thesis were obtain by qualitative type of research specifically a case study. The sources of information for this case study are personal interviews between me and group of eight elite Czech softball players. The interviews had eight open questions and take from 25 to 40 minutes. The interviews were analysed with aim to gain some new knowledge that could be apply to similar cases. All of eight requested players are members of the Czech national team or Czech national team under 23. They are active players in age 25,5  3,5 years. This information is valid as of 2021. Author: Vojtech Hedbavny Title: The effect of individual training in specialized goalie skating and skills on the speed of performing shuffle, T-push and slide in youth categories. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to test ice hockey goaltenders in the speed of their T-push, shuffle, and slide movements by creating a testing battery and training program, and subsequently comparing their results over a period of two months. Another objective is to determine whether the goaltender's age has an influence on the extent of the time change in the test. Methods: The research was conducted by testing nineteen ice hockey goalkeepers aged between eight and nineteen years. The entire experiment lasted for nine weeks during the competitive season. At the beginning of the first week, the initial testing took place, and at the end of the last week, the final testing occurred. Training stimulation took place during the nine weeks between the tests. Empirical quantitative research in the form of test measurements was used to gather data. Title: Specifics of tennis training for children with ADHD Objectives: The main objective of this study was to propose a set of educational-psychological recommendations and strategies for coaches and parents to maximize the effectiveness and positive effects of tennis training for children with the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Methods: Three children with ADHD were observed during tennis training. The observation took place during a training session. This method allowed the author to collect data directly in the children's environment. In addition, a controlled structured interview based on ten prepared questions that focused on working with children with ADHD was conducted with a coach of the three children mentioned above. The interview related to working with children with ADHD, teaching strategies and the future of these children in tennis. The interview data were analyzed using the grounded theory, which helped to identify key aspects and patterns in the coach's responses. The results of these analyzes were used to create proposals for pedagogical strategies for working with children with ADHD in tennis. Nutrition and Supplementation in Fitness and Bodybuilding Abstract The topic of this master's thesis is "Nutrition and Supplementation in Fitness and Bodybuilding". Physical fitness is getting more and more popular and becoming a global industry. Young people tend to prefer gyms to other types of physical activities. The advantage of fitness workouts is that there is no age limit, provided the person is healthy, as evidenced by exercising individuals who are 15 years old but also senior citizens over the age of 65. The empirical part of the paper was conducted using a qualitative method, gathering respondents through snowball sampling where participants identify others. As many as 28 respondents were divided into two groups: people doing conditioning and bodybuilding whose characteristics are explained in the Operationalisation chapter. All respondents did a semi-structured interview and provided a three-day diet plan. The goal was to map eating habits and the most common diet plans of people doing conditioning and bodybuilding, and to discover supplements they use the most frequently. Title: Comparison of the Czech and Norwegian models of training preparation of national men's rowing teams Aims: To create an inspiring source of information for coaches and competitors based on the differences between the Norwegian and Czech models of sports training in rowing. This study should give coaches and athletes insight into the current sports training of the world's best rowers and provide a model for creating training plans. Methods: The present study is a comparative review aimed at mapping and comparing some of the performance factors in rowing. The research data is a record of training models of the Norwegian and Czech national men's rowing teams. In order to explore the given question, it was necessary to study a large number of different sources and professional publications that could be traced and studied in available databases and libraries, as well as records of racing teams and coaches working in the field of professional sport. The Norwegian and Czech training models are compared based on chosen parameters. The parameters of comparison are the number of training intensity zones used by each team and the difference in the percentage of training intensity zones per annual training cycle.
