Monitorng of the photovoltaic power plant
Střípek, Martin ; Kunovjánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Dolenský, Jan (advisor)
This Bachelor work is dealing with theoretical knowledge of Photovoltaic. One of the great advantage of Photovoltaic is inexhaustible resource in long-time period – The Sun. This approach is especially important in todays world when more and more countries are becoming energetically dependent and may run out of fossil fuels. Bachelor work shall introdukce the principle of Photovoltaic, it's practical use for photovoltaic power stations, further it’s classification and types of constructions. The practical part is focused on monitoring the operation of photovoltaic power. Evaluate the instantaneous AC power, the total energy supplied to the network and compared with theoretical values. Bachelor thesis should help in detecting errors that can lead to energy losses.
Design of photovoltaic system for a detached house
Mareček, Jan ; Haluza, Miroslav (referee) ; Pěcha, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on introduction to the current state of photovoltaic system and its design for detached houses. It describes principle, composition and application of a photovoltaic cell and distribution of photovoltaic systems and converters for installations. It discusses current legislation support of photovoltaic systems in 2013. As a part of this thesis was designed photovoltaic system for detached house and its economic evaluation was prepared.
Small scale photovoltaic system
Vaľočík, Jan ; Škvařil, Jan (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is utilization of solar energy for electrical energy production focusing on photovoltaics. First, the principle, function and structure of photovoltaic cells is described. Then the current types of cells are introduced, followed by possibilities on how to increase the production of electrical energy from photovoltaic modules. Subsequently the connection methods between the photovoltaic systems and the network are discussed. The thesis is concluded by a design of a small scale photovoltaic system for a family house including an economic evaluation.
Investment Project Proposal and Realization.
Voňavka, Adam ; Holík, Vojtěch (referee) ; Šunka, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is focused on problem identification and financial risks in the implementation of photovoltaic power plant on the roof of a house. Part of the work is technical analysis and design, my own solutions to problems while maintaining a positive economic outcome.
Energy self-sufficient mountain guesthouse
Hánl, Jiří ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master project is to design an off-grid nearly-zero energy mountain guesthouse. First, the building structure is designed. It is a two-storeys building with roof made of lattice trusses. On first floor is dining room, kitchen, playroom and office. On second floor are guest rooms and an owner´s flat. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from ceramic blocks. Horizontal load-bearing structures are designed from reinforced concrete monolithic slab. The building envelope is insulated with ETICS. Second, HVAC, lighting, photovoltaics and use of rainwater is designed. TZB system controlled remotely with a PC or cellphone are designed. Third, energy study is made. The project is developed using CAD (drawings), DEKsoft (thermal calculations) and Atrea Duplex (air conditioning design).
Cathedral today
Nováková, Eva ; Mléčka, Jan (referee) ; Štěpán, Marek (advisor)
The main topic of the Diploma thesis is a complex design to rescue cathedral Notre-Dame in Paris. The work is firstly focused on the reconstruction of the structure including its collapsed parts and preserving a link to the destructive fire in 2019. The mainstay of the thesis is a design of new roof space and its use by broad public. Due to uncertainties about the structure stability disrupted by the fire a great emphasis has been put on the weight reduction of the newly built roof structure. The design makes a genuine attempt to be sensitive with respect to the spiritual function of the cathedral, thus the public roof access is separated from the cathedral itself thanks to a newly built underground spaces that are also included in the design.
Utilization of fotovoltaic effect in combination with electrochromism
Šeda, Radek ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Jakubis, Ivan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the preparations of titanium and tungsten dioxide active electrochromic layers and simulation of link between electrochromic structures and photovoltaic cell. By means of electrodeposition, the active layers were made on the glass substrates ITO. These layers were subsequently analyzed, namely their intercalation properties. In this thesis, I tried to design the link between the electrochromic element and the photovoltaic cell. After this, functionality of this link was verified by software environment MATLAB Simulink.
Analyse of photovoltaic solar cells by the photoluminescence method
Richter, Vladimír ; Bača, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issues of photovoltaic cells. The main aim of this thesis is to introduce the principles of operation of solar cells and methods of detection of defects affecting their quality. The first part is about the functional properties of silicon cells and it also examines the possibilities of detecting the defects of these structures. It also describes the most commonly used modern diagnostic methods. In the next part, practical tests of photovoltaic cells using the methods electroluminescence and photoluminescence are performed. These methods are based on the excitation of luminescence radiation of the silicon material by the external light source.
Inovation of system for electroluminiscence defect detection of solar cells
Lepík, Pavel ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis analyses the existing methods both practically and theoretically used to detect defected surface area in solar cells. Various methods were used but by using an upgraded CMOS camera without IR filter to implement the electroluminescence method, this has proven to have a very crucial impact on the results. Given the overall results and the acquired information, a procedure with a simple parameter can be setup to carry out the measurements. In addition to this a catalog was formed showing the defects occurring in mono and polycrystalline solar cells.
Deposition and characterization of low molecular thin films for organic photonics
Omasta, Lukáš ; Salyk, Ota (referee) ; Weiter, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on characterization of properties of new organic materials with respect to its potential application in organic photonics. The theoretical part contains a themed literature research on low molecular thin films for organic photonics, mainly phthalocyanines together with description and structure of the photovoltaic energy conversion. The practical part includes the preparation of thin layers of selected organic materials for organic photonics. Prepared thin films were characterized by optical methods and current voltage characteristics. Based on these results, the thin films and structure of solar cells were optimalized. Acquired data were used to determine the materials and structures suitable for photonics applications.
