Funding opportunities for a public benefit corporation - impact on accounting and tax regime

This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes non-profit organizations in general. The practical part deals with the evaluation of different funding sources of a chosen non-profit organization and their impact on accounting and tax treatment. Individual goals include keying of costs and revenues, describing the changes in the operating grant received in the individual observed years and inflation in the previous year, between subsidies and the number of pupils and the ratio of operating subsidies for school fees and income from additional activities.
Analysis of accounting non-profit organizations and the impact of legislative changes to its accounting

The goal of the graduation theses was to point out the impact of legislative changes to accounting of the specific nonprofit organization and to analyze an implementation of new revising legislation from 2010 until 2014 into practice. It was also focused on the related regulations in connection with economy of selected accounting entities with the focus on a specific subsidized organization. The specific subsidized organization is Městský dům kultury Sokolov, incorporated by municipal authorities, which is the center of cultural events in the town Sokolov. In the theses it was outlined, how the legislative changes are projected into practice in this specific subsidized organization. The theses also concentrates on the specifics of accounting and on the process of bookkeeping in the chosen subsidized organization and on its ways of financing and reporting. In the conclusion several measures were proposed, which mainly relate to the legislation, also to outflows of financial funds and finally recommendations related to a supplementary activity were proposed.
Services management of the non-profit organisation AIESEC České Budějovice

This study is focused on an analysis of services offered by AIESEC České Budějovice the local branch of the international non-profit organization, which provides practice for students through international internships or membership in the organization. Subsequent quantitative comparison of the range of these services with one of the nine other branches of the Czech Republic and one foreign is completed by structured interviews on the topic "How AIESEC develops its members." After evaluating the results, recommendations are formulated to improve the quality of the services.
The application of ethical principles in PR campaigns in selected organization

The aim of the thesis is on specific PR campaigns to evaluate the degree of implementation of ethical standards and compliance with the Code of Ethics of the organization. For the thesis was selected non-profit organization Neposeda, providing preventive and leisure activities for children, youth, families and communities. The thesis describes the target group organizations, ways of communication with them, then they are chosen PR campaign. Campaigns are summarized and evaluated from point of view of the application of ethical standards.

The bachelor thesis deals with the founding of a foundation according to the new Civil Code, which is valid from 1 January 2014. In theoretical part this is defined the non-profit sector and the inclusion of Foundation between legal persons. In addition, concepts and the issue of the functioning and management of foundation are clarified. Subsequently, the comparison of the changes resulting from the new legislation is made. The practical part will include specific examples of foundations. The aim of practical part is the establishment of a foundation according to the new legislation.
Marketingová strategie ART muzea pro neziskovou organizaci ART mlýn

The main objective of this thesis is to develop a marketing strategy for an ART museum which is run by the non-profit organisation ART mill Bohuslavice - Kyjov. The introduction is defining the subject and the work methods used. The theoreti-cal section defines the basic concepts and tools of marketing. In the practical secti-on, the theory is applied to the non-profit organization and its permanent exhibiti-on. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the internal and external environment of the organization ART mill, including an analysis of past activities and a proposal for the ART museum marketing mix. Based on the findings the thesis recommends a suitable marketing strategy. The conclusion contains recommendations for further marketing developments for the organisation.

In the thesis will be evaluated the current situation of the non-profit organizations in the field of corporate social responsibility in the Czech Republic. The theoretical background of the bachelor thesis will be done using current literature and other information. The establishment will be evaluated using the SWOT analysis and according to the current needs will use relevant analytic tools.

The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to information systems, nonprofit organizations and their regional development. In the practical part of this thesis the priority is given to a specific nonprofit organization, the Salesian youth center. A questionnaire survey regarding the use of the information system - SalesiániVálí by its clients was done and analyzed.

The research is based on quantitative level and its main goal is to detect reasons of departure of members and also to evaluate satisfaction of respondents with selected factors influencing turnover.
