The thesis „The Inventory Management of Trading Company” deals with the issue of material flow and inventory management. In the introductory part of the thesis, the theoretical basis of supply logistics in a logistics chain, the issue of inventory, its storage and in particular its management have been defined. In the second part, inventory management in a logistics center of a company has been analyzed. In the last part, the solutions for improving inventory management of a company, mainly in terms of reduction of the amount, have been proposed.

The Study of Optimization of Supply Planning Processes with a Focus on Stocks of Finished Products

The diploma thesis deals with the planning system of the stocks of finished products in the company Barum Continental Co., Ltd. This work describes the current state of the supply business process in order to meet the increased requirements during the delivery cycle. Based on the analysis are indentified factors influencing the planning of the stocks of finished products. The practical part of this work includes alternative proposals and recommendation for a more flexible reaction to customer requirements based on processing and monitoring statistical data.

This diplom´s thesis is focused on areas of logistics and invetory management in manufacturing company, which are both important parts of business. The object of this thesis is analysis of activities which are connected with material flow. Theoretical part describes basics of logistics and material flow. Practical part deals with methods, which could help the company optimize costs for material elements and make the relationships between suppliers and customers more effective.

The Study of Inbound Logistics in Manufactoring Company

The master's thesis is focused on optimal selection of transportation solution provider as a key activity of inbound logistics department of manufacturing company ABC s.r.o. The summary of general activities and objectives of inbound logistics are followed by the analysis of last selection procedure. Then there is mentioned suggestion of new selection procedure using the methods of Multiple Criteria Decision Making which is based on the knowledge from specialized logistical literature. This work assume that using the methods of Multiple Criteria Decision Making will result in more effective selection procedure in company ABC s.r.o.

Manufacturing Processes Management with Usage of Simulation Tools

Simulace výrobních procesů pomáhá optimalizovat výrobu, logistiku a další systémy, díky čemuž dochází ke snižování nákladů a racionalizaci vnitropodnikových procesů. Využitím diskrétní simulace programu Witness Power with Ease se v diplomové práci optimalizuje logistický tok materiálu ve společnosti Hella Autotechnik, s.r.o. Práce přibližuje metody a jednotlivé fáze tvorby modelu včetně jeho validace a navrhuje vylepšení, díky kterému by mělo dojít ke snížení nákladů na dopravní služby o 24 400 Kč měsíčně.

This diploma thesis focuses on stock management and related issues in the automotive industry. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part discusses general concepts of logistics and stock management. There are described patterns of production and its connection to the warehouse and logistics issues and more. The practical part focuses on a specific environment of companies operating in the automotive industry and describes its parts and logistics processes that are somehow related to the stock management. The practical part is also more elaborated on Aftermarket issues.

The master's thesis describes working procedures of the pharmaceutical warehousing and distribution, analyses actual methods of communication and identification and shows the weaknesses of this system. The work offers possible innovations, actual trends in the field of the automatic identification, warehouse management and proposes taking advantage of combination of voice recognition and bar-codes system. The thesis describes the new technology implementation, continuing the current practice and update of standard operating procedures.
