This final thesis is dealing with feed production technologies interms of different species of plants for the purpose of livestock production or energetics. The thesis analyzes one particular technology because of wide range of options on the market nowadays. The resource review chapter provides comprehensive information about history of forage harvesters and their use in crop production up to now. A significant part of that chapter describes an overview of latest technology. The thesis focuses on self-propelled machines and is complemented by a description of individual technical solutions. The metodology part contains measurement procedure and comparison criteria of particular John Deere 8300 and New Holland FR 500 machines. All the measured values had been gathered between 2019 and 2020. These values have provided the main source for acquiring further subject. The points of comparison were feed quality, grain crushing, efficiency and fuel consumption. The last criteria in that comparison are operational costs of particular forage harvesters.
Determination of the risk elements and other elements concentration in animal feed
Křehlíková, Jana ; Juglová, Zuzana (referee) ; Diviš, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the determination of selected microelements and macroelements and risk elements in dog and cat food. The theoretical part describes the nutrition of dogs and cats and focuses on the safety of the food in the context of contamination with risk elements. Another topic discussed is the chemical analysis of feeds, specifically the determination of nutritionally important substances, beneficial elements, and contaminants. The experimental part deals with the preparation and digestion of feed samples and the subsequent analysis of these samples using ICP-OES and AAS methods. The detected concentrations of the elements of interest in the feeds were compared with the feed standards issued by the Department of Veterinary Medicine and the decree issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. The analysed feeds were found to be deficient in some elements. The content of the risk elements in the feed met the legal limits and did not pose a health risk to the animal. Elements for which the legislation does not provide a maximum permissible limit were present in the feed-in in high concentrations that could already harm the animal's health.
Ovlivnění jakostních parametrů drůbežího masa netradičními krmivy
Voborná, Veronika
This bachelor thesis concerns with the effect of non-traditional feeds on the quality parameters of poultry meat. At this time, they are looking for non-traditional feeds, which could improve the quality of poultry meat or reduce overall price of feed. According to physical qualities, the poultry meat differ in pH, drip loss and shear force due to non-traditional feeds. Drip loss reduces adding Ligustrum lucidum, broccoli or Echinacea purpurea to the diet. Shear force of poultry meat reduces adding garlic bulb or garlic husk to the feed. Nutritional value of poultry meat differ in content of fat, cholesterol, proteins and minerals. Content of minerals increases adding guar korma meal and sugar syrup. Sensory properties differ especially in lightness of poultry meat, also in tenderness, juiciness, taste and flavour. From the technological properties differ water-holding capacity of poultry meat, which increases adding Echinacea purpurea to the diet.
Vliv výživy na mléčnost chovných prasnic
Ticháček, Martin
This bachelor thesis deals with the diet influence on milk production of breeding sows. The sow milk yield is the ability of females to produce milk for the needs of piglets. To maximize and optimize milk composition, an ideally balanced diet is required. Complete feed mixtures are prepared to provide esential nutrition of sows. Those feed mixtures consist from the individual feed components corresponding to the individual categories. It is necessary to pay extra attention to the essential amino acids and especially lysine for rearing of pigs. This thesis presents differences in feed technology also. These differences depend on the different sows, housing, and last but not least, on climatic conditions. The objective of this work is to provide general information about the effects of nutrition and feeding techniques on lactation of breeding sows.
Vliv technologických postupů na kvalitu siláží v měnících se ekonomických podmínkách
Neuman, Aleš
This research describes several major crops grown in the Czech Republic for ensiling and production of bulk feed for dairy cows. It describes their growing technology, harvesting technology and the ensilage process. It also evaluates the impact of the weather, especially its extreme fluctuations in recent times on the quality of the forage and the resulting canned fodder. It evaluates the quality of the feeds of a particular company on the basis of the analysis of silage from different years. Based on an analysis of the company's accounting records, the valuation of bulk feeds produced by the company itself. Subsequently, she is evaluating feed rations of individual groups of dairy cows for the reference period of 15 months. It evaluates the efficiency of feed rations, hence the profitability of the whole breed and the possibility of responding to fluctuations in prices on the agrarian market.

The next part is focused to digestive tract and digestion of nutriment. The other parts describe particular nutrition and feed. There are mentioned general feed for rabbits, feeding technique and specific feeding for individual ages of rabbits. The second part is focused to experiment based on influence of nutrition and feeding to liveweight gains in home breeding.
Faktory ovlivňující senzorickou kvalitu vajec
Fraňková, Simona
Sensory quality is affected by external and internal factors. One of the major internal factors is genetics, it affects the colour of the eggshell. The most important external factor, which is influencing sensory quality of the egg, is feed. Some plants contain pigments, especially xanthophylls, which positively affect the egg yolk and give it a deep yellow to orange colour. Feeding large quantities of rapeseed meal or betaine contrary, negatively affects the sensory quality, which leads to egg contents fishy odour. Include carrots, seaweed, mustard flour or alfalfa. Sensory quality eggs are evaluated in case efforts to improve technological, physical chemical properties of eggs. Important is that in improving some of these properties to avoid adversely affecting egg sensors. The addition of seal oil will increase the level of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, but sensory quality is not affected. In some cases, as feeding garlic, fennel, mint, marjoram is intently changed the sensory properties of eggs to improve their attractiveness for consumers.
Vybrané antinutriční látky v krmivech
Částková, Monika
This bachelor thesis focuses on ceratin number of selected anti-nutritional substances which are contained in animal feed. The thesis is a summary and a closer investigation of these substances. The first part of work focuses on the division of the anti-nutritional substances, according to the way they are absorbed into the feed if they are not a natural component. Further the greater part of the work is devoted to the selected anti-nutritional substances. For each of the substances the chemical structure is described together with the most frequent occurrence, mechanism of the modifications to the organism, the negative effects and influence on the health. Moreover, for some of the substances their levels in plants are indicated together with the maximum amount allowed at feeding in which there are no detectable negative influences on the organism. The final part of the thesis presents how to eliminate the anti-nutritional substances by breeding or technological procedures so that their negative influences are at their lowest levels.

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the behaviour of wild boars on baiting places. The research was conducted on hunting areas in northern Moravia, district Bruntál. Not only in the chosen area, but in the whole Czech Republic is dealing with the problem of overpopulation of wild boars. The observation took place using trail cameras, which took photos of baiting places. On these places was scattered feed, which was weight before. Times of arrivals and the number of wild boars were found from trail camera photos. In the next step was calculated the average amount of feed, which can wild boar consume in one hour. From ascertained data was recommended maximum amount of feed, which will be enough for periodical arrivals of wild boar on baiting place and thus reduction of overpopulated wild boars.
