It maps their gradual development and the influences that have affected them. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first theoretical part is focused on the description of the historical context of the development of the nursing profession. In the second, practical part, the thesis is devoted to qualitative research, which was carried out through narrative interviews with a total of six respondents from among graduates of the Secondary School of Nursing in Uherské Hradiště and from among nurses who worked in Strážnice.

The theoretical part is divided into five chapters, which describe the history of nursing, current educational process of nursing, competencies in the nursing profession according to legislation, their legal responsibility and the concept of nursing issued by the Ministry of Health in 2021. The empirical part of the thesis presents the results of a questionnaire survey carried out at the Regional Hospital Liberec. Its aim was to find out the opinion of general nurses in practice on the current state of competencies and subsequently to find out whether they are interested in expanding them.
Lexicon of nursing in Russian-Czech Comparison

The Bachelor thesis deals with lexicon of nursing in Russian - Czech comparison. The aim is to compare selected Russian and Czech expressions from point of view of word formation and to determine which ways predominate in these two languages. Component parts deal with mechanisms of word formation. We use comparative analysis. Collected Russian expressions are compared to their Czech equivalents.The thesis is mainly focused on terms of this field. It tries to find out if there are some regularities in the structure of loanwords and if these two languages use loanword or create their own word. It comprises also chapters about history of nursing, terminology, origin of medical terminology and professional slang. Supplement includes Russian-Czech dictionary containing diverse medical expressions and texts with medical topics.
Socio - economic impact on self nurses

This paper discusses the influence of the social and financial awards on the self-assessment of nurses. In the theoretical part I deal with explanation of terms as self-konception, self-respect, prestige and social status of the profession. Since the prestige of the profession influences besides other things historical development of professions, I have been also interested in the history of nursing. To be able to measure the economic effects of self-reflection of the nurses, I compared the amount of the financial evaluation of selected professional groups in the country. In the practical part I have found out nurses' opinion to view their financial assessment with regard to educational achievement and job description and their opinion on membership in a particular social group. I also wonder, as a general nurse assesses the media image of their profession and what is most troubling to him. I also tried to determine what is the most common motivation for general nurses to remain in their profession. Perception registered nurse on the part of other health professions

Aim of the bachelor's work were first to investigate how the profession of general nurse is taken in notice with other medical professions including doctors and non-medical workers in multidisciplinarian team. Second, to discuss the relationship during cooperation between other medical workers and general nurses. Third, compare the profession of general nurse in faculty hospital and in city hospital. Theoretical part determines term of "taking in notice", its characteristics, and discuss various factors related with taking in the notice during multidisciplinary cooperation . In the work I briefly describe history and actual situation in general nursing profession. Presented work is focused on qualificative personal and legislative predispositions of general nursing profession and other medical professions. Experimental part shows quantitative metod of data collection using request form including data collection, administration and investigation of returned data. The development of job descriptions theatre nurses across half a century

Bachelor thesis is focused on the history of the profession operating nurses, from 1953 to the present, primarily on the development and changes in workload of operating nurses at this time period and educational possibilities. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of the theme, such as perioperative care, job descriptions of the staff in the operating theatre, operating theatre equipments et cetera. The thesis is focused on the differences development in the workload and competencies of the operating nurses throughout the entire period, and the increasing need to understand the technical equipment in the operating theatre and its operation. The aim of this thesis is to map the development in the education and legal regulation for the operating nurses. The second objective is to determine the differences in the character of the operating nurses' work nowadays and 50 years ago. Bachelor's thesis is theoretical and practical nature. Historical Development of Anesthesiology Nurse

The rapid development of the intensive care medicine with a large amount of highly specific information requires sufficiently educated nurses in the field. A nurse anesthetist is a nurse working in intensive care with a focus on anesthesiology. She provides highly specialized nursing care to patients during the course of general or local anesthesia. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the development of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. It also focuses on the education of nurses. The education of nurses is summarised from historical beginnings to the present time. This part also includes new requirements for the education of non-medical medical staff and the current supporting legislation. Higher education for intensive care is also mentioned. The next chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the competencies of nurses in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. The practical part includes interviews with six nurses. Three interviews were conducted with nurses that witnessed the beginnings of the field of anesthesiology as we know it nowadays. Historical Development of Anesthesiology Nurse

The diploma thesis follows the history of nursing up to the present date and further the historical development of a nurse anesthetist. The thesis deals mainly with competencies and the specialized education of a nurse anesthetist in the Czech Republic. The aim of this theoretical-historical thesis is to map the origin and gradual development of a nurse anesthetist. The first part is devoted to the overall history of nursing and the development of anesthesia from antiquity to the present. The main aim of this work is, however, to map and inform about the development of a nurse anesthetist, her education and her competences from the first nurse anesthetist to the present time. The work is theoretical-empirical. The method of qualitative research, study of documents, analysis of primary, archival sources of MZ, NRL, UVV, legislation, periodicals, professional books and articles was used. Interviews were also conducted with the witnesses of the beginning of anesthesiology as a separate field. The aim of the thesis was to map the origin and gradual development of a nurse anesthetist and her competences. Selected technology monitoring in intesive care in a historical context

The diploma thesis presents the development of selected monitoring techniques of basic life functions in historical continuity. From the measured variables, this work includes measurements of cardiac activity, blood pressure, pulse, respiration and body temperature of the adults patients with intensice care in a historical context. This is a theoretical diploma thesis, which is divided into several chapters describing the history of nursing, a view of the monitoring in intesive care in the historical context to the presents. The first part of this historical work describes the beginnings of nursing. Its own origin and development, until now. The prestige of the nurse´s profession is formed by the society. In the leading positions in medicine previously dominated the men, in nursing care mainly women. A balanced relationship between a nurse and a doctor has been and is very important. The next part is devoted to the development of intensive care and the development of the role of the nurse in these departmenst. The history of intensive care has led to new partnership relationships between physician and nurse. There was an unfamiliar environment in which critical patients had to be cared for. This new role for the sister led to the increase of copetencies, there was a need to increase the education activity that focused on intensive care area. The view of urgent condition has changed over time. Already in the early sources, the urgent condition was described as a condition in which the health and life of the affected person is urgently threatened. These urgent conditions gave rise to the first beds for intensive care. Futher, the development of all monitoring techniques to date, servise of the monitoring technology. The negatives associated with monitoring technology are described too. The thesis will be used as a preview of changing nursing care in the context of changes in monitoring techniques of the intensive care.
