Study of Technical Preparation of a Production Portfolio for Production Organization
Cabúk, Matej ; Tesař, Rostislav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
Launching a new product on the market requires a lot of preparatory work. In international companies, procedures and rules are clearly given. And while theory defines the technical production preparation activities, the actual processes vary from company to company. This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis and optimization of partial tasks, mainly on the design preparation of production. It proposes solutions to improve processes from a designer's point of view. In order to understand the appropriateness of the proposed solutions, it is necessary to know the nature of the analyzed company, which will be briefly presented. The proposals deal with software equipment in the workplace, the potential of which is not fully exploited by the employees. And although good quality software is an important part of the efficient operation of any company, for some activities it is preferable to limit the software used and simplify the processes. The specialists do their job with high quality and in less time. Creating a position of a specialist in photorealistic visualizations gives room to employee to develop in the field. Various factors, such as motivation and work environment, affect the performance of employees. Introducing new benefits, improving transport infrastructure and promoting alternative ways of travelling to work can have a positive impact on employee performance and satisfaction. The final part evaluates the proposals from a technical and economic perspective.
Communication and corporate culture in construction engineering
Macinková, Martina ; Molnár, Josef (referee) ; Linkeschová, Dana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on communication and corporate culture in the construction engineering, with an emphasis on importance and improvement. The thesis aims to capture the importance of this topic in the context of the construction engineering. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the issue of communication and culture in the construction industry is examined in detail to provide a comprehensive overview. The practical part presents the results of the research conducted, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data was obtained through questionnaire surveys and guided interviews with employees of selected construction companies. The paper concludes with a summary of partial conclusions and formulates recommendations for improving communication and corporate culture in construction companies. This work included a proposal for a more effective survey methodology and tips for making the industry more attractive to young people.
Development of transportation infrastructure within the Central Bohemian cooperation region
VAGENKNECHT, Tadeáš
The thesis focuses on the development of transportation infrastructure in the Cen-tral Bohemia region. It analyzes the current infrastructure development with an em-phasis on financing and examines planned projects in this region. The thesis presents theoretical foundations and approaches to the development of transportation infra-structure, particularly the financing of selected projects. In the analytical section, theo-retical foundations are applied in the analysis of selected projects. The aim of the the-sis is to formulate recommendations for the development of transportation infrastruc-ture in the given region, to identify optimal financial strategies.
The level of selected soft skills among students of economics programmes of universities
ČEČKOVÁ, Nikola
This bachelor thesis focuses on the level of selected soft skills among students of economic fields of universities. A Hegemonic City: Discursive approach to ideology and dominance in development and planning of post-socialist Prague
Orcígr, Václav ; Balon, Jan (advisor) ; Vacková, Barbora (referee) ; Naxera, Vladimír (referee)
Late capitalist society is dominated by specific attributes of neoliberal ideology, which are inscribed in various ways in the politics of governance in the context of geographical location, political and social organization, economic situation, and other parameters. Discourse plays a specific role in the reproduction and legitimation processes of ideology. This thesis elaborates a theoretical approach to ideological dominance in the topic of urban development, specifically post-socialist Prague. The latter, as an urban space that has undergone major changes of post-revolutionary transformation, becomes a specific arena in which the discursive manifestations of various actors contribute to the production of theoretically identified (and also other yet unrecognized) patterns of dominant ideology. These, in turn, create a discursive field in which reproductive and legitimizing schemas are produced that contribute to the fact that the theme of urban development serves as one of the significant means that reinforce the global hegemonic position of neoliberal capitalism. The thesis builds on Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical approach to identify the actor field within which the processes of reproduction and legitimation occur, and works with Bourdieu's theory of ideological domination, which he developed...
Implementation of a Multipurpose Measurement System for (Sub)Terahertz Electron Spin Resonance Spectroscopy
Následně jsou ukázány příklady z měření pevných látek, konkrétně karbidu křemíku dopovaného vanadem (SiC:V), ftalocyaninu líthia (LiPc) a krystalu 1,3-bisdifenylen-2-fenylallylu (BDPA). Příklady demonstrují schopnosti spektrometru získat multifrekvenční vlnově spojitá EPR spektra a frekvenčně rozmítaná spektra v závislosti na teplotě a orientaci vzorku, a taky spektra pomocí rychlého skenování frekvencí
