Wayusa as a tool for local and community development in Ecuador

This diploma thesis is dealing with the topic of Ilex guayusa (wayusa) plant as a tool for the sustainable development of regions and communities in Ecuador. Goal is to determine whether wayusa, as an agricultural commodity, can be used for the communities in researched area of Ecuador for sustainable development and what role does commercialization and certification play in it. Literature review presents basic terminology of sustainable development of the communities in similar regions across the world in connection mainly to the agricultural commodities to understand how they can affect specific communities. Also, topics of cash-crops, novel food, certification, and commercialization are given and their role in the process of sustainable development. Research consists of the data analysis from the researched area of Gualaquiza, Macas and Tena, based on the semi-structured interviews to show perception of the wayusa in the local communities, its importance, in what state of the commercialization and certification is this commodity and impact of international companies and tourism. Results are that wayusa is mostly not perceived by local as a commodity with enough economic impact to the communities, but based on the findings, demand from developed markets is high and can secure income if the community is focusing on the external market (export). Certification is used only in limited amount mostly in more developed areas (Tena) as it is expensive to cover from only local market resources. Potential for improvement lays at the cooperation with developed markets, more commercialization, usage of voluntary certification and involvement of the tourists in agro-tourism.

The thesis 'The Process of Preparation and Implementation of Construction and Machinery Investments and Strategic Projects in DPMB Ltd.' explains the basic concepts regarding all organizations, namely organizational culture, philosophy, or goals of an organization. The main part of the work focuses on business management styles, quality management, guidelines, and standards. The thesis puts emphasis on inspection performed by means of audits. Special attention is drawn to certification audits as the gateway to obtaining certification. Based on his knowledge and the acquired information, the author then analyzes the proceedings concerning construction and machinery investments, as well as strategic projects of the DPMB Ltd., from preparation to realization. Using this analysis, the author develops a directive, which serves as a manual listing a unified and comprehensive procedure for all the employees concerned.

Ostřanská, T. Impacts of the implementation of the Czech service quality system. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2021. The main topic of this diploma thesis is the effects of the implementation of the Czech service quality system. The main goal of the thesis is to find out whether and if so, where the Czech service quality system enhances the quality of the services in the travel industry. To fulfill the goal of the thesis author conducted secondary research analyzing the main principles and methodology of the system and primary research through surveys and structured interviews with certified organizations. To identify changes in the quality and to measure the fulfilling of expectations of the involved subjects the work uses the SERVQUAL method of measuring quality. The thesis identifies the main benefits of the system for the organizations, the effectiveness of its marketing and looks at the weak points of the system. The benefit of the thesis is the evaluation of the applicability of the system and recommendations which could be used in the emerging systems of quality management.

Preparation of the certification of the quality management system of the university - department of foundry engineering

This paper examines the issue of the quality management system according to the requirements of the standard ČSN EN ISO 9001:2016. The object of application is the Faculty Foundry of Brno University of Technology. The first part of the thesis consists of theoretical research. The said part presents the historical development of quality management and current approaches to the quality management. This is followed by an analysis of the ISO 9001 standard where the individual requirements are defined and explained, so that they can be applied in the practical part. I have also added results from studies on the motives and consequences of implementing a quality management system according to the ISO concept. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the current state of quality management in the faculty foundry and the preparation of the standard requirements, so that later the foundry can obtain the quality management system certificate.

My bachelor´s thesis describes the implementation of the norm ISO 9001:2001 in the company ABC Security. I record a kind of the company; I do analysis and consider the possibilities of theoretical data. I propose the procedure how to reach the certificate ISO 9001:2001 in the final part.

It analyses accidents enclosures with a view to discover similarities near particular accidents. From ascertained lockworks ared proposal created for possibly steps, how prevent rise of these accidents. Part of this work are also attachments (formularies, etc.).

Aircraft windshield blowing: solution and design possibilities

My thesis is considering with aircraft windshield blowing for airplanes designed according to CS-23 regulation. The first part introduces the size of precipitation clearing area in connection with CS-23 regulation and report SAE AIR805C. Next chapter describes a few possible design solutions which can be potentially used for windshield precipitation. There are also other methods analysed in that part. There are not only the casual systems like windshield wipers but some more rare or new technologies too. It can be some fluid repellent surfaces or blowers in that category. The third part deals with jet blast system in detail. There will be a design calculation for airflow conditions which are important for the correct function. The last quarter of this thesis mentions the experiment what should compare the theoretical computations from the third part with the real values.

The thesis is focused on Regulations requierements, on the whole certification process and on requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority on sailplane HpH 304 Sm with auxiliary engine Binder for start. The separate parts and the certification procedure in the whole are described. Main part of the thesis consists of check flight and suggestion of programme of check flight. Due to the fact that certification is an extensive process, this thesis tries to describe all important aspects of certification process, so it would create a view of plane certification process.
