Cascade Boiler Houses of System Regulation
Smola, Vojtěch ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is about designing cascade of condensing boilers and regulation for four storey house with unheated basement. Cascade consists of three condensing boilers that are controlled by the three-zone weather-compensated control. Heating systém is controlled via shung circuit with electronically controlled mixing valves. The heating system is designed to ensure the smooth function of the heating systém and the boiler operates as the largest part in condensing mode. In this thesis were designed mixing control units and control valves to operate across the range. The proposed heating system meets the requirements for housing corresponding to European standards.
High Speed Turbine with Non-Uniform Cascade
Stareček, Jakub ; Drábková, Sylva (referee) ; Veselý, Jindřich (referee) ; Haluza, Miloslav (advisor)
This doctoral thesis is focused on hydraulic design of axial turbine by CFD and FEM analyses. The results are runners with nonuniform cascades. Nonuniform runners consist of blades with different axial positions, blades with different pitch angles in runner or indifferent blades. Each runner is designed with respect to 3D printing by FDM or SLS technology and hydraulic measuring. The analyses of the excitation frequencies, modal analysis, shape of the turbine operating range, maximal efficiency, output parameters and cavitation properties are emphasized.
Face Detection in Video
Kolman, Aleš ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
The project is focused on face detection in video. Firstly, it contains a summary of basic color models. Secondly, you can find the description and comparison of the basic methods for detection of human skin with a practical example of implementation of parametric detector. Thirdly, a theoretical basis for face detection and face tracking in a video containing a list of basic concepts and methods of this issue follows. Greater emphasis is placed on the description of machine learning algorithm AdaBoost and description of the possible application of the Kalman filter for the purpose of face tracking. Design, implementation and testing of library accomplished within the master thesis are listed in the final part of this thesis.
Cascade Boiler Houses of System Regulation
Juráček, Martin ; Rubinová,, Olga (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
The theme of bachelor´s thesis is „Cascade Boiler Houses of System Regulation“. The task is not only to design the heating system and heat source in an apartment building which is located in Hranice but also to design three-way valves and properly balancing valves. For heating are designed two heating branches. The first branch heats southwest side apartment of building and the second branch heats the northeastern side of the apartment building. It is also proposed third branch, which is used for hot water supply. Resources of heat are boilers joined to cascade.
Heating and hot water of pension
Beneš, Josef ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with heating system and preparation of hot water for a boarding house building. In the thesis is introduced fundamental systematics of heat line water systems and heating distribution. By the most frequently used materials are identified advantages, disadvantages and possibilities of application. Piping joints are divided according to disassembleability and single options are furthermore described. In the calculating part is analyzed the particular building based on its characteristics. According to this analysis is the building classified from the viewpoint of energetic demands and therefore was determined its “Building envelope energy label”. Based on those and additional data was designed the heating system in correspondence with national regulations. Suggested solution takes in account efficiency, comfort, acquisition and operating costs.
Optimization of heat generators for residential house
Smola, Vojtěch ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves design of heating in a residental building. This work is focused on the selection of appropriate one of the two options a heat source, which are cascade heat pumps ground-water and gas condensing boilers. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with introducing to the issue of heat pump systems. The functional principle of the widely most used types and particularized type ground-water. In the practical part calculation and design of heating system with selected heating source that is cascade of gas condensing boilers.
High-order frequency filters using modern active elements
Chrást, Jakub ; Minarčík, Martin (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the designing of active frequency filters of the second – order which is useful for the construction of cascade high – order filters. These filters were designed by means of autonomous circuits. Multiple current mirror and inverter MCMI, current operational amplifier COA and current differencing transconductance amplifier CDTA were used as active elements. Designing is focused on the circuits using MCMI. Designed filters work in current mode. In the introductory part there are described general characters of frequency filters. The second part includes the methods of construction high – order filters, the third part contains the description of active elements used. The design we can find in the fourth part. The functionality of filters was verified by computer simulation. One of the optimal filters was practically verified by available component UCC 0520. Two other filters were used for the construction of the fourth – order filter.
Restoration of signals with limited instantaneous value for the multichannel audio signal
Hájek, Vojtěch ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Záviška, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the restoration of clipped multichannel audio signals based on sparse representations. First, a general theory of clipping and theory of sparse representations of audio signals is described. A short overview of existing restoration methods is part of this thesis as well. Subsequently, two declipping algorithms are introduced and are also implemented in the Matlab environment as a part of the thesis. The first one, SPADE, is considered a state- of-the-art method for mono audio signals declipping and the second one, CASCADE, which is derived from SPADE, is designed for the restoration of multichannel signals. In the last part of the thesis, both algorithms are tested and the results are compared using the objective measures SDR and PEAQ, and also using the subjective listening test MUSHRA.
Tiered house
Dostál, Lukáš ; Párová,, Jitka (referee) ; Rusinová, Marie (advisor)
Project of a tiered apartment building. It is a four-storey above ground object. On the ground floor there are garages, storages and technical equipment of the building. The second to fourth storey are designated for dwelling, there are twelve housing units 1+1, three-bedroom flats with kitchenette and four-bedroom flats witch kitchenette. Some of the flats have cascade terraces. The load-bearing structure is made of cast-in-place concrete frame filled with concrete and clay masonry. The frame is founded on two-phased reinforced foundation blocks. The building is roofed with a main flat roof and walkable flat terraces adjacent to the flats. The building is thermally insulated with contact thermal insulation system.
The influence of type of dry hopping on the senzomic and sensory profile of top fermented beer
Bečková, Alena ; prof.Ing.Pavel Dostálek, CSc. (referee) ; Olšovská,, Jana (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the effect of dry hopping on beer senzomy and sensory profile of the top-fermented beer. The goal of this work was to modify samples of the top-fermented beer by dry hopping, to analyze them by senzomy and sensory way, to optimize the method for hop essential oils analysis and to compare the results to the available literature. The problematics of the used raw materials, analyzed substances, technological and analytical methods are discussed in the theoretical part. The practical part is composed of technological preparation of the samples and their analysis. There was used a commercial product of the type of American Indian Pale Ale in this work. There was added a Cascade hop by dry hopping into the commercial product. The basic analysis of gravity and attenuation of the beer were done on the fresh beer and the two months old beer. The selected essential oils, carbonyl compounds, bitter acids, selected metal contaminant and nitrates were established in the beer and in the hop. The samples of the beer were sensory evaluated in the same two-month interval. It was determined that the dry hopping influenced the increased pH of the beer. There was established the quantity of essentials oils in the samples and it was compared to the sensorial results. These results can be used as a base for the next exploration, some part of the results are applicable in the beer industry.
