The strategy and design of air carriers for recruitment to the pilot position
Šebesta, Jakub ; Chlebek, Jiří (referee) ; Hammer, Jaromír (advisor)
This master´s thesis provides an overview of diferences between conventional way to obtain ATPL licence and MPL course. Next focus is on the flight schools providing this courses and air carriers requirements to their future pilots.
Analysis of possible procedures for obtaining the ATPL qualification
Novotný, Jakub ; Imriš, Pavel (referee) ; Sklenář, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with different procedures for obtaining the ATPL qualification and is intended to serve as support for the selection of the training path for novice pilots. Special emphasis is placed on possible ways of time building and the financial demands of individual training paths.
Molecular genetic markers in myeloproliferative syndromes
MATOUŠOVÁ, Karolína
The issue of the origin and development of myeloproliferative diseases is what I deal with. This group of diseases is caused by various mutations at the genetic level. The work deals with the aberrations with the highest frequency, which are Janus kinase 2, calreticulin, MPL and the fusion oncogene BCR-ABL. The main criteria was to map the mutations already mentioned. Part of the work is a description of the process, starting with sample processing, through the collection of biological material, to the description of data from molecular genetic laboratory methods. The method used was mainly polymerase chain reaction of the ARMS-PCR type, which proved the presence of mutations. The results of examinations of patients with a computer system of a genetic laboratory in a hospital in České Budějovice. The files contained the results of examinations of 302 patients over a three-year period, from 2017 to 2019, plus 27 samples processed by me during the internship. As another telling value, I found the median from the whole data set. The data was entered according to the results of the mutation and entered into tables. Subsequently, I proved their sum and percentage calculation, I expected their partial occurrence. Based on the statistical evaluation of individual mutations, I proved the highest percentage of mutations in the JAK2 gene. It significantly exceeded the mutations of the MPL and CALR genes. I am the final values of aberrations for objective assessment by evaluating professional studies, which were focused on insufficient issues. I compared the final values of aberrations with several professional studies that focused on the same issue, for objective assessment. Genetic testing is a common concern in these patients today. The so-called genetic profile of the patient in connection with the choice of treatment is beginning to be considered. It is possible that different therapeutics work for different types of mutations. Although it may often appear to be the same disease in several different patients, it is precisely the genetic results that often reveal a different aberration.
Study of thin film catalysts for direct methanol fuel cell anode
Fusek, Lukáš ; Matolín, Vladimír (advisor) ; Nováková, Jaroslava (referee)
This thesis is focused on the study of catalyst layers for direct methanol fuel cell anode prepared by a new method using magnetron sputtering. Homemade as well as commercial supports were used. The study of properties of prepared layers was carried out in fuel cell using methods of electrochemical analysis, such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltametry for examination of conductivity, catalyst activity and resistance to poisoning by residual carbon species. Polarization curves were used to investigate power and diffusion properties. A reference cell composed of commercially-available electrodes was chosen for comparison.
Optimalization of distribution of immobile clients
Maříková, Eliška ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
Distribution problems today belong to one of the most used mathematical models in our everyday life. You can come across them when delivering items or transporting people. In my work I deal with the application of the distribution problems and their modification to transporting of handicapped people, specially for finding a route for the transfer of customers from the starting point to its destination while maintaining the capacities of the vehicles with the subsequent extension of the time windows and a further modification in the form of finding the routes where the customer is transported from the final destination point back to its starting point. To find the optimal solution, the combination of traveling salesman problem and the vehicle routing problem is used in my Bachelor thesis. The model is applied to real-time data from the company Societa o. p. s., which is one of the major companies in providing services to immobile people. The software MPL was used to calculate the optimal solution
Using a container traffic problem whíle planing concrete delivery
Zimová, Lucie ; Borovička, Adam (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis applies linear programming methods to specific data of the company Českomoravský beton a. s. The aim of the thesis is to plan the distribution of concrete from two concrete plants in order to maximize the profit. Mathematical modeling, namely a modified mathematical model of a container transport problem, is used for this purpose. Mathematical modeling, linear programming, transport problem, container transport problem as well as integer programming are theoretically described in the text. Another part is devoted to the real problem of the company Českomoravský beton a. s. Here is a detailed description of the situation that the company is struggling with and then a mathematical model. The work offers several modifications of this problem and a detailed description of all the results achieved. The conclusion of the thesis is the comparison of the achieved results with the current situation in the company Českomoravský beton a. s.

Application of mathematical methods for planning and managing network of sales representatives
Mitas, Lukáš ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Borovička, Adam (referee)
Companies from multiple branches use as one way to offer their products and services network of sales representatives. This thesis study mainly designing process of such network and process of planning day to day routes of sales representatives with focus on minimizing cost caused by their work. For designing such network set covering problem model and matching problem model were used. For planning sales representatives routes travelling salesman problem, multiple salesperson travelling salesman problem, vehicle routing problem, nearest neighbor heuristic and authors own solution were used. Usage of multicriterial decision making is briefly mentioned as tool for managing such network on examples of equipment selection. As demonstration on real case, data from Tata Global Beverages (Jemča) company were used.

Comparison of systems for evaluating the efficiency of using DEA models
Murinová, Michaela ; Šindelářová, Irena (advisor) ; Chýna, Vladislav (referee)
Diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the efficiency using DEA models focusing on the use of dedicated software tools. There are four chapters in the thesis where different approaches to efficiency are briefly presented. The method of data envelopment analysis (DEA) with its modifications is described in detail -- basic models, CCR, BCC and additive model. The main part of the work is presented in the second part of this thesis where I describe how to work with each program and summarize its advantages and disadvantages. The last chapter applies prior knowledge on real situation -- the evaluation of the efficiency of the regional police stations in the Czech Republic.
