Title of bachelor's thesis: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of total hip replacement Aims: The aims of the bachelor thesis are to improve theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills connected with the diagnosis of total hip replacement and physiotherapeutic methods used after the implantation of an artificial hip joint. Summary: The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, general part, deals with the anatomy and kinesiology of the hip joint; it also deals with the osteoarthritis, which is the most common cause leading to the total hip replacement. Particular types of implants and operating approaches are dealt with, as well. A significant part of the thesis deals with the rehabilitation plan for patients with this diagnosis, including preoperative rehabilitation, early rehabilitation after the operation and following rehabilitation. The second, specialisted part, deals with the casuistry of a patient after the implantation of an artificial hip joint, including evaluation of the effects of the therapy by comparing the kinesiological analysis before and after the treatment. The first part is theoretical and deals with the subject of knee joint seen from the anatomical, kinesiological, biomechanical and orthopedical perspective. Furthermore it contains basic information to the issue of knee replacements, their most common indications, possible complications and subsequent therapeutic methods and techniques after total knee replacement. The second part is a special section which shows in detail a case report of therapeutic care with patient after total knee replacement. It was established under the guidance of a private healthcare facility MediCentrum Praha during my university-internship . The case report includes patients anamnesis, an input kinesiology analysis, a short-term and long-term therapeutic plan, a detailed description of the course of therapy, a resulting kinesiology analysis and an...
