Účinek suplementace anorganické formy selenu u králíků

Selenium is one of the most important microelements in the animal organism which acts through selenoproteins. However, both lack and excess have an negative impact on the organism. In this bachelor thesis we focused on the effect of supplementation of the inorganic form of selenium (sodium selenite). The experiment was performed on 18 rabbits of the chinchilla breed at the age of 7-10 months. The rabbits were divided into 3 groups (3 males, 3 females). The control group received the compound feed without added selenium. Group E1 received a feed ration with the addition of selenium at 0,15 mg per kg of dry matter and group E2 with the addition of 4,3 mg per kg of dry matter. In this experiment we deal with the influence of the inorganic form of selenium on the total weight of rabbits and selected organs (liver, kidneys, muscle), the influence of selenium supplementation on its content in these organs and also the influence on selenium content in rabbit blood serum and its effect on blood parameters. The results of our experiment showed histopathological changes only in group E2 in three individuals (50%). In two cases (33%), there were isolated small lymphocytic infiltrates in the interstitium and in one case (17%) the initial phase of glomerulonephrosis. No histological changes were found in the muscle tissue in either case.

Comparison of sport clubs in Radotin and Zbraslav

Title: Comparison of sport clubs in Radotin and Zbraslav Targets: This thesis aims at producing an overview of the sport associations in Prague's district no. 16, namely in Radotin and Zbraslav. The thesis is to compare the differences in ensuring and carrying on sports activities within the association sphere in the given areas. Methods: For the purposes of the thesis the following methods have been used, namely a structured nonstandard interview, descriptive analysis and comparison. Results: It follows from the thesis that the associations based in Radotin do, indeed, function better that those situated in Zbraslav. That is especially true as regards their price policy, financing by way of subsidies, coaching stuff, organising of sports events as well as the cooperation with the public. On the contrary, Zbraslav associations have developed better cooperation with schools. Sport clubs in Zbraslav are more focused only on children and youth. In contrast, the Radotín sports clubs are trying to involve in its work all ages. For the purpose of presenting the sports overview we have created systematisation of sports facilities, database of contacts of executive directors of associations and comparative table of certain Radotin and Zbraslav sport associations. Strategic analysis of the company Český národní podnik s.r.o.

The aim of this Master´s Thesis is a strategic analysis of the company Český národní podnik s.r.o. It consists of external and internal analysis on the base of the strategic recommendations are made. The thesis itself is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the first one there is described the methodology. The second one is built on practical analysis. Analysis of external environment is consists of PESTLE analysis, Porter´s model of five competitive forces and description of the field. Internal analysis is built on application of VRIO analysis, value chain analysis, financial and portfolio analysis. Synthesis is carried out using the SWOT analysis. Final strategic recommendations are focused on the supporting the strengths of the company based on SWOT analysis and exploit the perspective opportunities.

The financial analysis of Zeelandia, spol. s r.o.

This thesis is focused on financial health of Zeelandia, spol. s r.o. in years 2007-2011. The study is divided into four main chapters - introduction, theoretical part, application and conclusion with complete summary and a set of recommendations. The aim is to analyze the company, find out its strengths and weaknesses, describe the impact of the merger and compare the company with its competitors. Zeelandia is assessed by several methods - horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, balance principles, working capital management, array of ROE and current liquidity, three predictive models and intercompany comparison. After evaluation Zeelandia can be marked as prosperous company with some positive developments, but on the other hand with several problematic trends connected with its future as well as with its weak performance comparing to its competitors.
