Selected materials for preparation for secondary school entrance exams

The diploma thesis deals with Selected materials for preparation for secondary school entrance exams. The objective of this thesis was to create a workbook with exercises that help pupils with the preparation for the secondary school level entrance exams in Mathematics. The workbook is dedicated primarily to 9th-grade learners, however, teachers can use the exercises for revision lessons in any classroom in lower secondary school. The workbook comprises several thematic units which are introduced by the theoretical overview. Furthermore, the units consist of supplementary exercises with the answer key section.

Contrastive analysis of polysemic words in Czech and Spanish

The presented master´s thesis is focused on a contrastive analysis of Czech and Spanish phraseological units of the polysemic word heart. The objective is to analyse the original concepts of given phrases and their possible equivalent in the other language, using the knowledge about main cognitive principles explained in the theoretical part of the thesis. The thesis consists of theoretical chapters dealing with cognitive linguistics, categorization, embodiment and conceptual metaphors. These are later applied in the analytical part, which represents particular radial categories of the word heart. The results of the analysis is found at the end of the thesis, as well as the conclusion and a Spanish resume. The thesis is written in Czech language.

Summary: Komunikace duchovního s věřícími v krizových situacích Communication between Clergy and Communicants in crisis Lucie Isabela Vacková This thesis entitled Communication between Clergy and Communicants in crisis focuses on the work of hospital chaplains. At the beginning, there is a description of basic terms such as communication, priest and crisis. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the pastoral care with regard for the ill and dying ones. In particular chapters biblical and psychological view of illness, dying and death are introduced. In the Chapter Pastoral Care I describe the main goals of care, the history of charity in term of the Christian Church, the main method of pastoral care- conversation and the current situation in the area of care in hospitals in the Czech Republic. The research was conducted in hospital in Chrudim on the department of long-term care. The research`s objective was to determine how the patients percieve the pastoral care, what they expect from the pastoral care and whether they would personally use this care. Pastoral care in hospitals in the Czech Republic is still being shaped up. People often worry that a priest will try to persuade them to believe, if they use his services. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is the comprehensive solution of tasks concerning a Mathematical Olympic category Z8 which are assigned to pupils of the 8th grade in a primary school, the 3th grade at an eight-year grammar school or the 1st grade at a six-year grammar school. This thesis should not help only pupils with practising but also it should be helpful for teachers who are preparing pupils for this competition.

Speech and Language Pathology Prevention in Topics of Class Education Program in Kindergarten

The bachelor's thesis focuses on speech therapy prevention in nursery school. The theoretical part begins with definitions of speech therapy and speech therapy prevention, including its scope and methods. The following part of the thesis defines the role of speech therapy prevention within pre-school education, specific features of this type of education, its planning and assessment. The practical part presents several topics for speech therapy prevention, which fall under five common thematic units mentioned in the class educational programme. These topics were put into practice in a nursery school located in a regional town and subsequently evaluated according to evaluation plan, which had been drawn up beforehand. This bachelor's thesis shows that speech therapy prevention can form a natural part of integrated thematic education in nursery school.

Integration of child with partial trisomy of ninth chromosome in kindergarten.

The bachelor thesis deals with the integration of the child with the partial trisomy of the 9th chromosome into the kindergarten. This is a longitudinal survey in the form of a case study that captures the individual changes of an integrated child and the development of integration. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to integration into kindergarten, selected type of disability and current legislation. In practical part the used methods for qualitative research are described and the results of the research are presented, in this case the case study concerning the integration of the child with the partial trisomy of the 9th chromosome.

Spanish enclaves in Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla - constitutional and international legal base and analysis of relevant legal terminology

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to clarify the status of the Spanish enclaves in Morocco - Ceuta and Melilla - by analysing their national and supranational legal establishment. An analysis and interpretation of the Spanish-Moroccan dispute are an integral part of that aim. After the introduction of the enclaves and Spain, the picture of its territorial organization is presented, previous to description of the legal establishment of Ceuta and Melilla based on constitutional law. The origins and causations of the Spanish-Moroccan dispute are then presented and a personal view on its possible solutions is provided. Ensuing a survey of particular specifics of the enclaves within the European Union and other international institutions and organizations. The thesis is concluded by a resume in Spanish which is subsequent to an analysis of relevant legal terminology with a bilingual glossary.

The doctoral thesis Looking for the Sense of Being as a Way of Daseinsanalytic Psychotherapy with the subtitle Potential Contribution of Daseinsanalysis for Pedagogical Practice deals with possibilities of the daseinsanalytical preventive and treatment consultancy application in the environment of primary schools. The consultation programmes are based on Martin Heidegger's philosophy, phenomenology, hermeneutical explanation method and daseinsanalytical psychotherapy. The goal of the doctoral thesis is to introduce, in the field of philosophy of education, this new project focused on bullying and also to raise a question about the inspirational possibilities of the development of the current system of Teacher's university education. Alkaloids of Narcissus 'Dutch Master '(Amaryllidaceae) and their biological activity. I.

Vacková, L.: Alkaloids Narcissus 'Dutch Master' (Amaryllidaceae) and their biological activity. I. Diploma thesis, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology, Hradec Králové 2016. From a selected fraction ND-6, which was obtained by column chromatography of an alkaloid extract of Narcissus 'Dutch Master' (preparation of the alkaloid extract and column chromatography was performed by Mgr. Daniela Hulcová within her doctoral thesis), lycorine alakloid O-acetylpluviin was isolated using preparative TLC. Its structure was determined on the basis of MS, NMR analysis, and optical rotation, the obtained data were compared with the literature. The isolated alkaloid was tested on its possibility to inhibit human acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase. The activity was expressed as IC 50 values (IC50 AChE = 648.03 ± 53.95 μM, IC50 BChE = 602.50 ± 48.50 μM) and compared with IC50 values of galanthamine, huperzine A and physostigmine. O-acetylpluviine showed a very low inhibitory cholinesterase activity, and so, the alkaloid does not seem to be a suitable cholinesterase inhibitor for potential use in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
